@allenstone’s Gibson ES-125 is ready to go! We did a lot to this one, including a deep clean, replacing the vintage Grovers with original strip Klusons, cleaning and restoring the electronics and a full-service setup. Spoiler alert: it’s awesome. (at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar)

Somebody on eBay just got the deal of the century! This ‘68 Gibson ES-345TDSV is in the super hip, super rare “Sparkling Burgundy” finish, which is really close to Fender’s Candy Apple Red but usually fades to a color between metallic orange and gold. Oh, man… this is a DREAM guitar and I didn’t even know! NOOOOOOOO It went for $2800!!!!!!!!

Today’s project: a vintage 1962 Fender Bass VI. Full setup with a Mastery Bridge and new LaBella Deep Talk strings. Oh my god, you guys — it’s beautiful. You probably can’t tell, but it’s a super-faded Sonic Blue. (at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar)
