Find someone who is not rude to your appearance, who would fall in love all over again when your morning hairdo is fresh and your bad breath is menacing. Find someone who refuses to take pride in how long the relationship existed, but finds first place in how long they were able to make you smile. Find someone who loves you and wouldn’t dare deny it. It is an intrinsic human trait, and a deep responsibility, I think, to be an organ and a blade. But, learning to forgive ourselves and others because we have not chosen wisely is what makes us most human. We make horrible mistakes. It’s how we learn. We breathe love. It’s how we learn. And it is inevitable.
