I dare you to give Junie a little kiss! Doesn't matter where, just remind the sunflower you appreciate her, okay?
“What?! Junie feels unappreciated!? I WILL FIX THAT!”
With amazing speed Athena dashed out of the office, sounding off Juniper’s name like a battle cry.
Ye, did she make a mad dash from the city and running all the into the countryside and up Juniper’s mountain. Honestly, Athena could have just taken the train that led all the way to Juniper’s neighbourhood in the mountains, but how else Athena show her appreciation and devotion without first scaling a mountain side?
“Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie!”
Once she was safely on a ledge, she made a hasty rush towards the familiar beaten path and up to the other teen’s garden. Straight to the door -- and then she veered to the right, towards the vines growing up the side of the charming little country house. Up, up, up Athena went, moving with the speed of a monkey in the trees.
“Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie!!!!”
Thankfully, the window to Juniper’s window was wide open, so all Athena had to do was slip inside. One leg hooked the sill so she could pull the rest of herself up and through the opened window. She must have made quite a sight for the neighbours and for Juniper herself.
“Junie! Who doesn’t appreciate you? Is someone telling you you’re not appreciated? Not loved! I. Will. Fix. That!”
Once she was on her feet, Athena strode over with great purpose. Taking great care, she wrapped an arm around Juniper’s waist, moving to dip her; her hand cradled her neck so she wouldn’t have to worry about falling over.
Without further ado, Athena kissed the living daylights out of her best friend for the next good minute.
And when she was done, she righted Juniper back onto her feet. After making sure the lil’ lady was fine standing up, Athena punched her fist into the air.
“Take that people who say Juniper isn’t appreciated! We are soul mates, okay and nobody appreciates and loves Junie as much as amazing moi!”
