I'm a producer for a new indie animated show in the making and to ensure a successful Kickstarter, I'm gathering data on what people look for when backing campaigns like these.

actually i'm realising i don't have a lot to say i just really like wylan videos. and i think everyone should watch them. like maybe you should all go watch his new video that's very good and cool????

all of his videos are shockingly high quality, and he's recently started adding little animated segments (animated by his friend, well, animated) (who is also in his videos) (i love u animated). anyway now i am going to dump all the gifs i made of the new video (and 2 of older videos)

Jei & Frisk were best friends in their first life. and in the medieval episode, it's Frisk's death which causes Jei to rebel.

And in the second medieval world, they're total strangers. their one interaction is emphasizing that they're not friends. Jei dies and Frisk survives, but why would they care? Simply back to the status quo.

In the ice world they were siblings, relentlessly arguing over which of them would get to sacrifice themself for the other. Frisk dies getting Jei off the planet, so that he'll have a chance to live.

In the desert they're enemies, they try to kill each other. Frisk is the reason Jei leaves the planet, but it's not out of any sort of affection. They want him gone so they'll get to protect what they truly care about.

I don't know if it's time travel shenanigans or parallel worlds or something else. Are there different versions of the same character? Will ice world Jei meet desert planet Frisk? Or will all versions of a character collage into one - friendstrangerenemiesibling?

Haven left home 3 years ago and didn't look back. After a major fallout with her parents that left her alienated from the whole family, she moved out of state and made a life of her own. But after a letter arrives saying her grandfather was dead and she was needed at the will reading, she arrives back in Georgia to a horror she remembered and a new one she's yet to uncover.

i felt like this comment kinger made ("don't feel like i need to go first just because i have right of way in a four-way uncontrolled intersection") meant more than just what it said so i went to the google

The Chinese Room experiment is a thought experiment that says if you put a guy in a room with a Chinese-English dictionary and instructions, but he doesn't understand Chinese. He can follow the instructions to produce a result, but he doesn't actually understand what he's saying. This is a fundamental argument against GenAI/LLMs - they don't actually understand what they're saying, they're just following an algorithm that statistically predicts the next word in a sentence, with no understanding of what the words actually mean.

Also Caine says "it's a mystery what's behind that door" which I interpreted to be a jab at the black box way that GenAI consumes and regurgitates things in its algorithm. Not even its creators know what it knows or how it will respond to things.
