Avalanche Warning

Pulling off the black fingerless glove on her right hand, she reached out to shake Adina’s hand. “Oh, I’m sorry, I totally forgot.” She put her left hand behind her head sheepishly. “Name’s Ia, don’t really have a last name I use. So, lets get started here! What pokemon do you have, um, Adina right?”

She smiled at the young girl’s innocence. “Anything is enough to work with.if you care enough. Trust me on that, my Absol and I know enough about working with things we shouldn’t.” Chuckling softly, she put her uninjured arm on the child’s shoulder. “Pick those that you enjoy teaming up with. We can start there!”

Breeze

"… No. I can believe that," Giovanni stated, his glance turning from her to the open ocean. After all, he was something of the same way. While he had spent a lot of time in the forests and cities of Kanto, as living and basing his work out of Viridian City for such a long time would suggest, he did not prefer that kind of setting. "This is not exactly the kind of place that I would prefer, personally, but I suppose that if you spend all your time in the mountains, you would get sick of them after a time… I will admit, places like these are nice to visit. Actually, I happen to own a beach-side house in the Seafoam Islands where I spend vacation… But I don’t care much for the heat and humidity of such places like this." No. He preferred a much different kind of place, but even as he thought it, he fell silent.

Breeze

A smile formed on her lips. “I am, thanks!” Looking back towards her own building, she sigh. “My phone is on the bottom by now, but that’s ok!” she said, laughing, “I made sure to water-proof it, and my Cloyster can go get it whenever.” Attempting to pull herself up next to him, her grip gave way, and fell backwards, almost back into the sea. Her right arm flailed and caught the ledge. Slowly, she pulled herself back up to hang from the wood planks once again. Ia attempted a smile, only wincing slightly before giving a laugh. “I’m glad to see you again.”

"I've been better, but being here always helps." Looking around at the snowless landscape, she smirked, "Most people don't believe me when I say this is my favorite place in the whole world." Dipping her feet in the water, she absentmindedly rested her right hand on her left shoulder. The wounds her hands massaged gently were some of her worst. "Especially since it's hard for me to swim. Yet I love the open sea more than any mountain in existence."

She stopped shuddering for a moment, looking up incredulously at Poppy. “Well you sure brought it up a lot for someone who doesn’t want to die!” Slowly reverting back to her original smile, Ia continued, “Sorry, I’m not just a huge fan of,” her voice turning into almost a whisper, “fire…” She then began again, at normal volume once more. ” Death tends to make me think of it, and phobias suck.”

Ia giggled, "It's no big deal, nothing you could have known about." Messing with a strand of her long silver hair, she pondered a thought she had out loud. "If I scare you, I'm sorry. I sometimes think I might be bi-polar. I mean, I'm not, but it seems like it sometimes."

Shuddering, Ia stammered through her next comment. “A-a-are you say-y-ying you would r-r-rather b-b-b-b-urn-n-n to death?” Just think of snow, think of snow. 

She stopped shuddering for a moment, looking up incredulously at Poppy. "Well you sure brought it up a lot for someone who doesn't want to die!" Slowly reverting back to her original smile, Ia continued, "Sorry, I'm not just a huge fan of," her voice turning into almost a whisper, "fire..." She then began again, at normal volume once more. " Death tends to make me think of it, and phobias suck."

"It’s also really pretty there too I guess." Cradling her left arm a bit, she sighs, "Plus, almost anything can kill you. Water and snow, to me, always seem like some of the safer bets."

"Not really! There’s water there, and that’s like not cold snow!"

"It's also really pretty there too I guess." Cradling her left arm a bit, she sighs, "Plus, almost anything can kill you. Water and snow, to me, always seem like some of the safer bets."
