*not ranting just lamenting my sorrow*
I've spent the past three days working from home, starting from 6 AM to 10 PM. Every single day, I would tell myself, "I work to make art later." This morning, I got up extra early at 5:20 am just so that I could draw a cute little doodle to prevent burnout. Not even an hour later, I'm just about to finish the drawing, it's so fuckin' cute, it's already one of my favorite drawings yet. And my program just. shuts off.
Corel doesn't automatically save. I should've known to save it after the fifth layer because that's when it's most likely to crash. But I didn't. And now it's gone. And the sorrow I feel, feels like someone just ripped my heart out. Now there's just this pulsing emptiness rattling my ribcage.
