#kibin #blatantly evil #i can def see “guardian of the barrier between dimensions and is trying to get isekaied people home”#turn into “they're basically ICE ripping people away from the lives they've built in their new homes!!!!!”#which like to be fair they aren't wrong #a big part of their arc is learning that some people don't want to go to their original dimensions and want to stay in their current ones #but. that's something they learn. and fandoms are Not Good at nuanced characters #as for my other oc. Dozen gets hit with the female debuff and Kibin's fans would be pissed off whenever she's the focus #but also instead of being hated for anything she does #dozen would get woobified into being itty bitty baby child can do no wrong #and THEN people would get annoyed at that fanon interpretation and think the original is like that. and so they think dozen is annoying #changing pace Aurora gets hit with the “too competent” stick because she's autistic about Pokemon battles #and is “too good” at them immediately #“She's a mary sue she knows everything” yeah bitch she was raised by gym trainers and practically lived at the PWC as a kid #she's been around and been obsessed with professional battlers since she was a kid and has a special interest in competitive play
