Am I the asshole for charging people to use the water in my house??

The water system in town has been out for weeks but the Master of Masters just keeps telling us to use the river water. most people are smart and don't wanna drink river water, but since I'm the only person with water in town people keep fighting over who gets to go in, so I had to recruit a couple friends to help keep people from fighting. But since they (and me too!) can't go on missions to make munny while also making sure everyone has a chance to get water, I'm having to charge everyone who comes to get water so that we can still buy our own supplies. Am I The Asshole??
