“i’m not the type of person that likes to sit around and watch tv, darling. i have too much energy for that.” maybe once she burned some of that energy off. “rock climbing-- no, you’re going to be much more entertaining than climbing. “i wonder how loud your screams will be, perhaps everyone throughout the castle will hear them. even the humans.”

“such a good girl, aren’t you.” she practically cooed, stating the ovbious more than asking it. audrey was a long time servant, of course she was always willing to entertain. “i don’t think we’ve actually enjoyed one anothers company though, have we?”

“does it?” she wore a smile as she turned towards the voice, a very handsome one. she was pleased with what she saw. “how often are you let out of your cell, sweetie?” she asked sweetly, wondering how fast this one could run- or how loud he could scream. 

“a playmate!” she exclaimed, turning her eyes onto the dark haired female just a short distance away. “would you like to play?” she cocked her head to the side slightly. “if you do well i will treat you afterwards.”

“no? but why?” she pouted before her lips curled up in a smile. “that’s exactly what you’re going to do, boy.” she tapped a manicured nail against the bar of his cell. “hungry? fine.” she sighed out, she supposed she could feed the human first, maybe it would make him see she wasn’t completely horrible- for now. “open his cell.” she ordered, in a couple of moments the guard had caleb’s cell opened. “come with me.” she urged the human forward out of his cell, and ushered him out of the cell block. “what’s your favorite foods?”

“things have been dull lately.” ava hummed lightly, fingers brushing through her blonde locks. every hair had to be perfectly in place. “i need some entertainment.” the woman sighed, her sadistic, more feral side of her was gnawing away at her. she wanted to play. and not the kind everyone would enjoy.

“tell anyone? you mean the police?” laughter bubbled up again and she placed her hand over her mouth slightly. “sweetie, we’re probably not even in your home country anymore. let alone around any police. if i let you out it’ll be to come with me to my suite. so pick and choose, remain in this cell, or come with me and we’ll see how well you can behave.”

“they all seem rather stupid,” she pursed her lips. “too stubborn and idiotic for their own good. pain is probably the only approach, at least for me since they don’t find me all that intimidating.” she shrugged a shoulder.

ava’s face lit up with amusement, she let out a short laugh at his words. “this isn’t an act my sweet boy, no joke.” slim fingers curled around the bars to the man’s cell. “those guards aren’t for show you know.” she nodded her head over to one standing near by.

ava pursed her lips, growing annoyed with how he was speaking. she assumed it was because of his new life, but something told her his hatred ran deeper than that. like it was programmed into him. a hunter perhaps? ava barely contained the growl that began rumbling in her. briefly she composed herself. turning more towards the slave now seated on her bed. oh how tempted she was to tie him down and put him in his place. claim dominance over him. attempt to make him more docile-- though she knew that wouldn’t be the case. “how many of my kind did you kill?” she may have not seemed like it, but she was smart. she could piece the little things together. “answer me.” she said firmly, her heart aching for the child she lost years ago to a hunter.
