cleansing spray | diy
heya fellas
y’all know that not everybody can burn things to do cleansing in the house so…
in the past days i was looking for a cleansing spray easy to do but really, none was easy
sooo, i decided to do my own cleansing spray with the things i have here in my house and i though, why not post the thing in my tumblr? so here it is!!!!
materials:
spray bottle (glass is better!!!!!!!)
rosemary
lavander
lavander essential oil
basil salt and lavander salt (any salt works)
moon water (important)
alcohol (medical or white vodka works fine)
mint
how to do it:
first, put the moon water in the spray bottle
then, put the same amount of moon water but replace the moon water with alcohol
now, put all the herbs inside of the bottle (lavander, mint and rosemary)
we are almost ready, now put the salt in the bottle, the amount you find okay (lavander and basil salt)
now it’s time to put the lavander essential oil in the bottle
finally, mix it all and you’re ready to do cleansing!!!!
note: put more water if your mix this very thick
note2: if your bottle don’t work well, let it rest for a few days until the mix is a brown color and strain it!
and that’s all, i hope this works for you!

April will be a positive month. New positive events will enter the life of many people and healing will take place. You might see positive surprises coming your way and have increased luck. This is a chance to replace old negative energies with new ones and let the new beneficial experiences take place.
Easy Healing Spell
What you will need:
Yourself
A Calm Mind
Good Intentions
What you need to do:
Sit in a calm, quiet area and begin to meditate.
You may call upon any higher energies to help you if you desire. Picture the person in your mind that you wish to send healing energies to and focus on their existence–their being.
Imagine taking away their illness, pain, etc, and replacing it with healing, protecting light.
Begin to chant a spell that creates the energy you want to send forth.
Short Example Spell:
“I banish these forces of malice and spite, And send forth to you the Healing Light.”
Can you share a good luck spell or charm?? I have finals in 2 days and would just like to bless them or anything you got really
A penny painted blue can be an excellent good luck charm for studies, but proactively I like to anoint my pencil in the blue wax of a candle that had been carved with A+ and other symbols and then write or re-write my notes with said pencil. Then use that same pencil during the test. Ive also found that waxing the eraser helps too because it prevents you from making mistakes or second guessing your answers.
Reblog if you struggle to do something “witchy” on a daily basis.
Nobody is perfect and setting an expectation to do something witchy everyday is sometimes unrealistic. I want to help normalize the idea that you are still a valid witch even if you don’t honor your path every single day.
Mental health can interfere. Work and family stress can interfere.
Take it easy on yourself.

🌷🍰 Beltane 🌷🍰
🌷 Also known as May Day
🌷 Art By: Jacqueline De Leon on Instagram
________________________________________________________________
🍰 When Is Beltane?
🌷 Northern Hemisphere:
30April - 1 May
It can be celebrated either day or is traditionally celebrated from the night of 30 April until the day of 1 May
🌷 Southern Hemisphere:
31 October - 1 November
________________________________________________________________
🍰 What Is Beltane?
🌷 Beltane is celebrated because we are now at the peak of spring; the sun god has now taken over. For many of us, summer is arriving, or is coming very soon. It’s super joyous, happy, exciting day that honours life. The earth is buzzing and all of the earth’s energies are thriving: fertility, sexuality, passion, energy and new life are at their peak of stimulation at this time. Fertility is the main theme for Beltane. The Triple Goddess in her maiden form and the Horned God are finally united and they are bringing new life on the earth. It’s the time of the year when we need to grant luck to the summer months and the growth that is coming. It is one of the solar festivals, the other being Samhain. Beltane represents birth, while Samhain represents death, which is why Beltane is seen as the most important celebration by some people.
________________________________________________________________
🍰 How To Celebrate:
🌷 Beltane celebrations focus on fertility, abundance and all of the amazing gifts that the earth gives us at this time.
________________________________________________________________
🍰 Activities:
🌷 Create amulets made from rose quartz and give them to loved ones, friends and family. This is a gift that can help with positivity and passion and they can help to lower anxiety too. For specific loved ones this can help with the passion and romance between the two of you and it can also calm nerves!
🌷 Flowers and greenery are a huge part of Beltane.
🌷 Create flower crowns.
🌷 Create daisy chains.
🌷 Wear flowers on your body.
🌷 Make a green man mask from leaves.
🌷 Beltane is a time of love, so if you have a loved one that you would like to make a commitment to, this is an excellent time for marriage, handfasting and promise rituals. You may want to plan your ceremony for Beltane.
🌷 Dance round a maypole; this is a pole that is typically made from wood or metal and that has ribbons tied to a wreath around it. The maypole, is a phallic symbol of the male, the wreath around it and the ribbons coming off it, the vagina. We are celebrating fertility and the marriage of the two of them around this time! You can do a traditional maypole dance around this pole holding the ribbons. Look out for nearby maypole festivities - there are probably more than you think; if not you can create one yourself with your loved ones or your coven.
🌷 Also if you have plans to conceive, now is a great and lucky time!
🌷 Another way to celebrate love is just to go for a walk- you could search for a hawthorn tree, make a wish , have a picnic and collect some wild flowers. Share this experience with a friend or loved one or enjoy a solitary walk.
🌷 Spells to cast at this time are love spells and vitality, protection, romance and purification spells. Casting your circles with oats around this time of year is also a good idea! They are a traditional Beltane grain for good luck.
🌷 Light a Beltane fire- have a Beltane fire ritual with your friends and family, serve food and have an outside bonfire. Fires are traditionally to honor our sun gods, and celebrate the warmth and the sun god taking over the cold.
________________________________________________________________
🍰 Altar Ideas
🌷 Decorate it with seasonal spring flowers.
🌷 Drape it with green cloth and ribbons to represent the green earth as it is now here!
🌷 Add birch and hawthorn branches, burnt in your cauldron.
🌷 Light red, pink and green candles.
🌷 Red and pink represent passion, love and fertility, which suit the theme of Beltane.
________________________________________________________________
🍰 Food And Drink
🌷 Oats in all forms; oat cookies, oatmeal, oat bread
🌷 Dairy, cheeses and milks or dairy-free alternatives
🌷 Also spicy food, to represent the element of fire and the sun
🌷 May Day wine
🌷 Vanilla-flavoured foods
🌷 Fairy Cakes
🌷 Ice Cream
🌷 Sweet breads
🌷 Elderflower and other flowery-flavoured cordials
________________________________________________________________
🍰 Crystals
🌷 Relevant crystals to carry around with you this time of the year and to meditate with, use in divination and spell work, place at your altar and, around Beltane, give as gifts to loved ones and partners, are:
🌷 Rose Quartz
🌷 Emerald
🌷 Sunstone
🌷 Pink Tourmaline
🌷 Beryl
🌷 Pink angel aura quartz
________________________________________________________________
🍰 Herbs And Flowers
🌷 Any herbs and flowers that are blooming now where you live are perfect or Beltane. Try to get the most vibrant and powerful blossoming herbs to work with at this time of the year.
🌷 Lilac
🌷 Thistle
🌷 Flaxseed
🌷 Paprika
🌷 Hawthorn
🌷 Rowan
🌷 Daffodil
🌷 Honeysuckle
________________________________________________________________
🍰 Incense
🌷 Good incense to use during casting circles, burning at your altar around Beltane time and for cleansing and consecrating, as well as for magickal workings, are:
🌷 Peach
🌷 Rose
🌷 Vanilla
🌷 Jasmine

getting rid of insects in the home the green witch way
while insect visitors like ants, wasps and spiders aren’t always welcome, killing these little creatures is never ideal, and can interfere with the energy of your home. whenever possible, here are some natural + humane alternatives to pest removal.
✳ ants: leaving lemon rind near their points of entry to your house is an effective deterrent; they will avoid the smell. you can also use baby powder, which they don’t like to walk on.
✳ wasps: if there is a wasp nest around your home, placing several cotton balls coated in peppermint essential oil around the affected area, like the corners of the front porch, will bother the wasps enough to stay away from the area. the closer you can place the peppermint to the nest, the better.
✳ spiders: chestnuts have a chemical compound on their surface that acts as a spider repellent; additionally, chestnuts don’t go bad for quite some time, so they can provide long-term spider deterring. place a handful of chestnuts in the corners of your home.
✳ bees: honeybees are precious and should be kept alive at all costs. if there is a beehive near or on your home that is causing bees to enter your home, or you or someone you live with have a bee allergy, the most effective humane way to prompt the bees to build a hive elsewhere is to smoke them out. do this at dawn, as it gives the bees time to relocate before sundown. using rotten wood, paper or cardboard, create a burning pile underneath or nearby the hive, set it alight, and immediately vacate the area, as the bees will start exiting the hive. make sure all your windows are sealed. you may need to do this over the course of a few days to ensure they leave, and often times bees won’t return to an area where they’ve been smoked.
the majority of insects will be deterred by peppermint essential oil or vinegar, as a general rule.
Room Cleansing
I have recently moved! And after 2 nights here the room was still laden with the energy of the previous owner. So, naturally, before doing any work, I needed to cleanse. I wanted to make this place mine. A sanctuary of sorts. Here’s what I did.
Tools:
Cauldron - or a fire safe container
Fire - store bought is fine
Herbs
Oak wood - personal correspondence with my craft
White Sage - locally purchased
Rosemary - I connect it to happiness and protection
Bay Leaf - Carrying intent/wishes
Clove - Protection, and a personal favorite herb of mine
Ritual:
Light the herbs on fire and say, as many times as you feel necessary:
With this brew Bless this room. Make it holy, Make it clean, Make it mine.
Let it burn and smoke and do all it has to do. Because of the wood and sage it smokes well, and smells fantastic. Let the smoke fly into your room and visualize it cleansing the energy of the room as you do so. (Pro Tip: Use the ashes for black salt later)
Ritual of grief
Many of us began 2016 grieving over the death of a rock icon, and within two weeks of the beginning of the new year two other British icons died. I know how much it hurts to hear about the deaths of peope we consider our heroes. People we may never have personaly known, but who have affected our lives one way or another. These events inspired me to write this ritual, which can be used to help us deal with our feelings of grief over death. I’ve tried to write it so that most people can perform it without too much trouble.
For this ritual you’ll need: A bowl A carafe (or a glass/bottle) with water. A candle (I chose one I made myself, black with red drips) A pen/pencils and piece of paper. Choose one or more of these: 1. - A rose flower. Love, healing, friendship. Roses enhance our mood. Or - A gardenia flower. Love, peace, healing. Or - If you can’t get any of these, get any herb or flower with special meaning to you. You could use honeysucke for healing and love, meadowsweet for love and peace. Remember that yes, correspondences may be important, but since grief is such a personal thing, use what you feel is best. If you can’t get a flower or herb, you can use oil. The ritual: I prefer doing this sitting down. Grief is personal, it’s close to yourself, it’s a pain in the heart that makes it want to be cradled. Start by writing, drawing. It doesn’t have to make sense.Your first memory of this person. The memory of the moment their very being touched yours, changing your life. Things that reminded you of them. The love you had and still have for them. End with what you felt when you heard they died. What you feel right now. The words you want to scream. Allow your grief to be felt fully. Light the candle. Candles have been used for centuries. The flame is a prayer, a wish, it is hope. It is light, like the spirit you’re remembering has been a bright light in your life. Let the candle be a reminder that not even death can take that light from you, because it will always exist in the past and in your heart. Roll up the paper and use candle wax to keep it rolled up. The paper represents all your feelings about this person, rolled up tightly to keep them safe, close to your heart. The wax represents the person, the light they brought, which will always be there together with your feelings. Now put the paper in the bowl and pour the water over it, filling the bowl. The water represents easing the pain and clearing your thoughts. As water flows in a river, it smoothens rough stones, moves them even. It gives them a place, like it will give your pain a place where it may exist, and it’s okay for it to exist but it will not always be at the surface for you to feel it’s rough edges. Place the flower on the water, where it will float. You have now literally put healing, love, peace at the surface. Or, if you’re using a different flower or herb, something very dear to you, something with a special meaning. Something that will help you heal. You can end this ritual by giving the bowl and candle a special place for a while, or pour the water in your garden. Do with it whatever is most practical or feels good for you.

Safe Crossings for Someone Who’s Passed
A simple ritual to help someone who’s passed find peace.
Ingredients:
A small candle (white or black is good, or a color you associate with the deceased)
A small piece of paper and pen/pencil
Rosemary oil or leaves
Thyme
Violet, marigold, or rose petals
Ground clove
A pinch of sugar (any kind)
A small candle-safe bowl/holder (needs to be a bit larger than the candle itself so herbs can be placed around)
1.) Write the name of the person on the piece of paper. Write what you wish for them (peace, rest, happiness, love, reunions, etc.).
2.) Place the paper under the candle. If you have rosemary oil, rub the candle with it lightly. If you have the leaves, you can stick them into the candle in a ring around the outer edge.
3.) Create a ring around the candle with the herbs and petals. Sprinkle the sugar around on top last.
4.) Light the candle and say the person’s name and the things you wished for them.
5.) Leave the candle burning as long as you are able, but it’s okay if that’s a short amount of time.
6.) Bury the herbs/petals and paper- or burn them if you’re unable to bury.
