medical transition is a beautiful thing and i'm glad so many trans people are gaining access to it. i just wanted to remind folks however that medical transition is not what makes a trans person who they are you are who you are regardless of whether or not you ever gain access to HRT or surgery. often times people view these things as the first step in being viewed as a "real trans person", and i've heard from many trans folks who wait until HRT and/or surgery to come out. they're not required for you to be able to express who you are and how you feel. you don't have to take that avenue if you don't want to or can't. you are still the man, woman, or person you are inside, you are not that person only after you medically transition. please know this.
