HONESTLY THIS WAS SUPER FUN TO WRITE! i will admit i dont know very much about marine biology in the slightest, but i tried my best:D! i also have never written or read anything about scott … BUT AGAIN I TRIED!!

⁃ because of his fear of sharks, the idea of the entire sea scares him a bit. he’d never admit it, obviously.

⁃ so as you can imagine, he’s a bit reluctant on the idea of anything really pertaining to underwater critters.

⁃ hearing the way you talk so passionately makes him want to turn over a new leaf entirely.

⁃ “Back on the farm I caught a fish and my Pappy let him live in the bathtub for a few days!”

⁃ he’s definitely not the sweetest talker in the world… but you can tell he really wants to be able connect over something that you love!

⁃ when you go more in depth about different species, he gets really engaged in the conversation. after learning that not every single sea creature wants to pummel him, he’ll start to warm up a ton.

⁃ sharks still till horrify this guy. when you tell him that sharks are typically docile, his mind is absolutely blown.

⁃ loves those videos of divers petting sharks. he says they remind him of his little brother who ‘acted like a dog’ until he was 5. (scott has a weird ass family.)

i decided to try and do ripper anyways! it was a fun challenge. i kept the interests very vague just so it’s more generalized :) i hope you like it!

Wayne

⁃ possibly one the most supportive guy you’ll never meet.

⁃ gives you his undivided attention when you talk about the things you enjoy. except for the occasional story about either a previous hockey game or something silly he did with raj which he always seems to be able to tie into about every conversation.

⁃ loves to buy you little knickknacks that remind him of you.

⁃ when you first met wayne, you briefly brought up a game you were obsessed with as a kid. after he told you that he’s never played the game, you thought nothing of the conversation and moved on with your life. a few weeks later, he approaches you to tell you everything he could remember from the game you raved about.

⁃ confused about what even prompted this in the first place, wayne quickly follows up by telling you he played the entirety of the game for you.

⁃ isn’t a ‘typical’ nerd but once anything, and i mean anything reminds him of hockey, he’s talking about it for the next 10 minutes at the very least. over time, he does this with your interests as well. the references don’t always make sense (they do in his head), you have to applaud him for being creative at the very least.

Ripper

⁃ has no idea how to form any kind of positive bond with someone other than his typical boy-friends. while he does avoid a ton of people on purpose, ripper has a hard time having genuine conversations with just about everyone.

⁃ he doesn’t really know how to communicate the fact that you two have something in common and he’d like to talk about it with you. everything just comes out bad. seriously. he sounds disingenuous and you can’t tell if he’s just telling a really bad joke.

⁃ after a ton of awkward encounters, ripper finally blurts it out. “I want to be your friend! I know it seems weird that I’d want to be around you but I really-“ ripper stops himself, realizing how aggressive he’s coming off.

⁃ before he can try and backtrack, you give him a simple ‘yes’ to avoid any more embarrassment for him.

⁃ you two have a lot in common! it’s a bit unexpected at first, but Ripper is a huge nerd! over time he gets more open about his interests, but it takes a while.

⁃ being a little.. socially unaware.. ripper genuinely believes he’s one of the coolest people ever. scared that his interests go against his oh-so-great reputation, he never tells anyone about things he genuinely enjoys. until he met you obviously!!

⁃ can be a bit of an inattentive listener at first. uncomfortable that you might ask what he likes, he’ll steer the conversations into completely different directions that had absolutely nothing to do with the original topic.

⁃ you know he tries nonetheless. when he’s genuinely comfortable with you, ohmygod ripper does not stop talking about the stuff he likes. you both connect over a ton of mutual interests which definitely helps a bunch.

WRITING FOR IZZY IS SO FUN! this might be a tad ooc but it’s just how i perceive her to be:) i hope you like it!!

⁃ all over you all the time. whether she’s holding your hand, biting your cheek (her favorite), or linking her arm around yours, izzy will always find an excuse to touch you.

⁃ very emotionally intelligent! izzy loves to hear about why you feel the way you do and offer solutions. sometimes they’re silly, but you can tell she tries nonetheless.

⁃ ^ always in tune with your feelings and can tell when you’re upset before you even realize it yourself.

⁃ despite getting carried away at times, izzy is a very good communicator. she’s more than aware that her lifestyle is pretty much anything but calm, she never wants to move too fast and stress you out in the slightest.

⁃ knows pretty much everything about everyone. be prepared to have many conversations about what ‘big-o’ ate for dinner the night before, as well as that one time noah accidentally wore two different color socks and flipped out when anyone made a comment about it.

⁃ can have issues with commitment from time to time. when you first start dating and mention anything about the future she quickly shrugs it off saying that she “doesn’t like to think about it”. it’s not that izzy doesn’t see a future with you, she just has a hard time seeing any kind of permanency period. the thought of staying in one place makes her a bit nervous.

⁃ her anxieties are quickly resolved when she realizes that you’re okay taking it day by day with her. once you reassure her that she can never too much for you, izzy starts to be more open about her wants and needs for the future. she tells you about how she’d prefer to have a cool pet over a kid, her jungle wedding idea (to be fair, she never saw herself getting married period so her taste isn’t the best), and occasionally she’ll tell you that she doesn’t have a discernible goal for the future and all she knows is that she wants to be with you to figure it out together.

⁃ loves to cuddle but sleeps in the craziest positions. once you woke up with her legs sprawled over your face while she held onto your feet like you’d run away in the middle of your sleep.

Gwen

⁃ she’s naturally drawn to people more on the shy side so you two are around each other more often than not.

⁃ despite that, gwen is a very private person. after spending time with each other you realize that you don’t know too much about her aside from superficial things she’ll tell everyone.

⁃ it takes a bit for her to open up to you, but when she does it’s totally worth it! gwen is a huge netf and is extremely passionate about the things she enjoys.

⁃ while a lot of her interests are more on the niche and obscure side, you learn that gwen secretly loves a lot of things that completely contradict her tough exterior.

⁃ “you have to promise not to tell a single soul, can you do that for me?” gwen holds out her pinky towards you, looking more vulnerable than you’ve ever seen her before.

⁃ “i have a secret collection of barbies. i’ve been collecting them since i was a kid.” she looks into your eyes as if she’d just admitted to a murder.

⁃ giggling, you give her shoulder a light punch. “just wait until i tell heather.”

⁃ gwen gives you a relieved look, followed with an eye roll as she goes into detail about her huge variety of interests which range from horror movies to kids cartoons.

⁃ writes about you in her diary. there are pages and pages just about you. she’d never tell you though.

⁃ loves to match outfits. she has a huge collection of platforms that she’ll share with you as well.

⁃ gwen isn’t the most affectionate person, but she loves holding your hand! she’d be perfectly content sitting in silence, holding your hand.

Courtney

⁃ arguably one of the hardest people to get to know. courtney hasn’t had many friends in the past so it takes her a while to even admit she wants to be seen with someone else, especially romantically.

⁃ little by little, you get to know each other. courtney is the queen of going on long tangents about whatever’s on her mind, which is something you would never have expected.

⁃ when you start dating, she goes out of her way to prove herself to you. despite all of your protests, courtney wants to show you that she’s worthy of you. even though she’ll deny it, she needs a bit of reassurance that she is enough for you.

⁃ very physical with you. courtney isn’t the best with words so she’d prefer to hold onto you whenever she gets the chance.

⁃ loves sharing her clothes with you. the both of you pretty much share a wardrobe when you’re officially dating. to your surprise, most of her clothes are pink and purple.

⁃ always encouraging you to do whatever you set your mind to. especially if you tend to be more passive, courtney will always help you achieve your goals if you let her.

⁃ practices makeup on you if you’re comfortable with it! she never cared too much about cosmetics because she’s always been extremely focused on academics.

⁃ if you know how to do makeup, even better! she’ll ask you to do hers all the time.

⁃ loves planning dates. she’d prefer fancy restaurants but if that isn’t your thing, she loves picnics as well.

⁃ will 100% order your food for you if that makes you nervous.

⁃ “Excuse me! They asked for no pickles.” (get it…)

⁃ sends your food back if it’s not steaming when it comes out of the kitchen.

Heather

⁃ socially inept to an extent. much like courtney, heather has never had a true friend before so making strong connections with anyone can be very hard for her.

⁃ at first, she doesn’t really notice you. heather has a habit of only interacting with people she doesn’t like just to rile them up.

⁃ it isn’t until you find her alone for the first time. she’s writing in a journal with a purple pen that has a cat on the end of it.

⁃ “I like your pen.”

⁃ there’s a long pause of silence before she gives you a quick “Thanks” and goes back to writing.

⁃ just as you start to walk away, heather starts talking again, making you jump a little bit.

⁃ “i don’t know how gwen does this,” she lets out an almost exaggerated sigh. “who just writes about their life for fun? i don’t think there’s anything appealing in writing about your feelings. i thought i might give it a try but this is seriously driving me crazy.”

⁃ glancing down at the paper, she’s written sentences that are completely unreadable. when heather realizes she told you too much, she reluctantly pats the spot on the ground next to her.

⁃ isnt the best communicator at first. heather has never had her feelings genuinely validated by anyone in the past, so it’s really hard for her to talk about how she feels.

⁃ as time goes on, she gets way more comfortable with you. she never expected it, but she feels comfortable telling you about almost everything she’s ever thought of. she’ll tell you about some girls at school she used to hate, she’ll rant about her family, and tell you every bit of gossip she knows.

⁃ heather loves to do hair. whether it be dying, braiding, styling, installing wigs, you name it. she’s even knowledgeable about natural styles, but she’s always open to learn more if you’re willing to teach her!

⁃ secretly a huge dork. she loves old romcom movies and goes on huge tangents on who she thinks the better love interests are.

⁃ is sooo loyal. even if you’re in the wrong she will take your side (within reason) because she knows how it feels to have everyone against you.

i loved this request! i tried to make the headcanons more generalized instead of everything being based off of my own experiences, i hope you like it:D!

⁃ everyone is different, but i like to think cody is neurodivergent as well so he can be extremely understanding. he’d love to learn more about your everyday struggles so he can try and make your days easier.

⁃ having said that, he isn’t the best at picking up social cues so it’ll take him a bit to figure out what makes you uncomfortable and could lead to potential meltdowns.

⁃ BUTTTT! you best bet that when he becomes more aware of your triggers, cody remembers them down to the smallest details.

⁃ cody can be very physically affectionate but if that can be too much for you, he totally understands! he loves to do little things for you to remind you that he loves and appreciates you.

⁃ always doing things for you. dropped something? he’s already on the ground grabbing it before you’ve even processed it. tv remote too far away? he has it in his hand before you can finish your sentence. cody loves acts of service and he’ll help you with just about anything.

⁃ definitely has a whole collection of fidgets and little trinkets that he’ll share with you. he brings a few with him everywhere he goes just in case either of you need one.

⁃ if you ever go nonverbal, he finds different ways to communicate with you! he’ll spend hours designing communication cards decorated with your favorite things.

⁃ hyperverbal? that’s not a problem for him either. cody loves to listen to anything and everything you have to say.

⁃ please tell him about your special interests, the dorkier the better! cody has some niche interests of his own he’d love to share with you as well.

⁃ very open minded! if he’s doing anything that makes you uncomfortable in anyway he’d love to know. cody knows what it’s like to have his boundaries crossed so he’d never want to do the same to you. communication is key and he’s always open for suggestions to make your relationship work better.

YESS!! i scrapped the harold ver. because it didnt come out how i wanted but if you’d really like me to do him as well i can figure it out for you :D

- while crushing, brick is very endearing. he’s constantly by your side, finding excuses to be around you. he is very oblivious in regards to romance so at first he isn’t completely sure as to why he wants to be around you all the time.

- if you happen to be big on working out, brick sets an even earlier alarm in the morning than he usually does so you both can warm up together without jo and lightning bombarding him.

- brick loves to not only listen to you talk about the things you love, but he wants to learn as much as he possibly can about your interests.

- bless his soul, brick has a very very hard time initiating any kind of affection. he isn’t shy about his feelings by any means, he would just prefer you to take the lead a lot of the time. eventually, you both figure out what works for each other!

- under brick’s pillow is a giant sketchbook full of fashion sketches. it takes a long time for him to actually show you his designs, but when he does it’s totally worth it. he’ll go super in depth about any page you point out to him. he’ll design outfits for you as well! :)
