bio-essentialism was bad when it said that autism is an inherently masculine condition and it's still bad when people act like male autism vs. female autism is a strict binary rooted in how women are naturally better at having cutesy autism or whatever

There is no such thing as "male autism" vs. "female autism". Period. There are differences in the way autistic people of all genders express their autism, but that's it. There is no need to gender autism like we do with everything else. Autism is not some product you can slap some sparkles and pink paint on; it's a real condition that affects real people.

I'm not a religious person, I don't believe in spiritualism or magic, but man I want this to be real.

Being around people can be hard. You deserve the time you take to yourself.
