Spend any time in YA author circles, and you'll discover a significant contingent of authors who ship Zutara. Some of them will even credit the Zutara shaped hole in their heart as inspiring their work. This doesn't mean that all of their books share similarities with the ship, but hey! Some of them definitely do!
So this blog is here to support our fellow shippers and advertise works that might be up a Zutarian's alley.
***Disclaimer: I came up with the idea for this blog several years ago and at the time used the authors' Twitter accounts as my main source of info--either tweets of support or likes of pro-Zutara posts. I will endeavor to go back and cite my sources, but some of these authors have since purged their accounts in the era of X.***
Edit for additional info:
1 - This blog posts weekly on Tuesdays.
2 - I’m trying to disperse the lesser known/indie authors in amongst the bigger names/bestsellers, so expect a week or two of lesser knowns after a big one shows up.
3 - The inclusion of an author here is not an endorsement of their works or a judgment call on their morality. There’s never any shortage of drama on author twitter/threads/bluesky/wherehaveyou, and I’m not weighing in on any of that. If an author has expressed support for Zutara, I’m including them–even those I would rather not claim or whose vision of the pairing appears to be at odds with my own.
