Longest lunch - a local bank sponsored a lunch for charity.  the lunch table was 638 meters long.  It is now the worlds longest lunch in the Guinness Book of Records.

today we conclude the first part of our AUS trip.  Melbourne has been wonderful.  filled with great memories of interesting food, friendly people and experiences that have served to enrich our souls.  so, we are now off to the next leg, CAIRNS to MELBOURNE road trip.  twenty days and 2,200 miles of beaches, towns and more memories await us.  here’s to being lucky in life.

This is a place called LUNE.  They make the most amazing baked goods - including something they call a “CRUFFIN” which is a crossiant shaped like a muffin - soooo good.

we visited the local church on campus - two young boys were practicing for the church services - enjoy

cricket is a big sport here - so instead of baseball batting cages they have cricket batting cages.  If you look at thee far end of the cage you can see the “wickets” that are used in the game - it was very cool to see how they practice

Went on a bike ride to the University of Melbourne - these are some of the nearby buildings

we went to an escape room playhouse where you have 60 mins to solve puzzles and escape a locked room - we had great phone - this was what was in the bathroom!

went into a motorcycle store - saw these RC planes with amazing detail and full of automatic touches - like the wheels retract, the canopy retracts - all with gyros.  Amazing
