It’s the moment every sixth year looks forward to: Apparition lessons! I know, I’m a little bit surprised Professor MacNair didn’t take them away from us, too, but I’m certainly not going to complain. Not that I’m worried about getting splinched, but does anyone have any advice about the best ways to avoid it? Clothes that are better for Apparating than others are, things to do to clear your head before you try, that sort of thing?

You should probably try to get a good night’s rest beforehand, but other than that, I really don’t think I have very good advice to give, Goldstein. My first time at it, I ended up losing losing a hand-- still haven’t quite been the same since. 

Francine: I was looking through costume catalogs to see if I could find something nice - apparently, being a tree is an option they give - and I literally found nothing interesting. Thank Merlin for Google.

Francine: But then I realized that I don't know if Macnair will even allow alumni to go to the ball considering what a sour puss he is so if you know, let me know? Then I don't have to hide my costume idea and can live free of the shackles.

James: You'd make a very cute tree, Franny.

James: I have no idea if we'll be allowed to the ball, but if he does end up banning us from going, maybe we can have an alumni party?

Jules: Oí Potter!

Jules: I need you to stop your brooding session and get completely pissed at the pub with me tonight.

I have no idea. It seems like something I should discuss with my spouse, so I’m going to hold off on this one.

Francine: YOURS CAN BE THE NERD EMOJI! IT LOOKS ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE YOU WHEN YOU WEAR GLASSES.

Francine: I can't give them to you all the time, though.... for a few reasons.

Francine: Truuuue. WHY DON'T YOU LIKE WHEN I USE EMOJIS?!?! :((

Francine: I was kidding! We both know I wouldn't be able to last more than an hour w/o forgiving you. Unfortunately.

Francine: I've never actually asked but she knows how much I want a dog so maybe I'd convince her if she wasn't so receptive at first.

Francine: There's also the one that looks like Thor! Well... only a little! He's attractive and all but just not my top choice. If anything, I'd want seven Rogers'. That would be like going to heaven for me. You really can't think of anyone you'd want seven of? You disappoint me.

James: I ACCEPT.

James: Why not?! :((

James: Of course I know. Same goes for me, though I'm pretty sure I'd last maybe a minute before I'd have to forgive you. I think it's the puppy eyes. They're my weakness.

James: I doubt she'd say no, but you should probably talk to her about it before you go around adopting one just yet :P

Netflix is glorious for days off. I’m watching this anime called Ouran High School Host Club and it was like ahead of the game. Haruhi didn’t care for gender stereotypes at all. She shut that all down all the time. I am not ashamed to say I have been binge watching it. If anyone has suggestions, let me know.

I’ve never been able to get into anime, but sounds like an interesting one, Rox. You do a bit of that, no? Shutting down gender stereotypes, I mean. 

After what seems like an unending wait, I’ve finally heard back from the Ministry – I’ve been offered a training position as an Auror. If I pass all the tests and whatnot, and I hope I will, I’ll be the next Auror in the Potter-Weasley family.
