"Uh... Hi?" Why can't anything stay normal anymore? Really? Can't he go at least ONE day without anyone not from here asking where they are and how they can get back? Is that too much to ask?
But of course he didn't say that out loud.
"It truly is," Richard answered fondly, his thoughts still lingering on Asbelās hometown. "It has seen its share of troubles, but the people there are resilient and have met each challenge theyāve faced with great strength. They do their kingdom proud."Ā
It was with great regret that Richard admitted that he were a larger part of the challenges Lhant had faced in the recent past. If not the siege he had laid to the town himself, his nova creatures had decimated it more than once. There were so many things he still regretted so deeply, so many decisions he wished he hadnāt made. Looking upon the town with a great deal more sorrow than before, Richard could only hope that the same hardships had not been inflicted upon this place as well.
"Thatās true, itās quite a way from here," Richard agreed with a nod, the talk of his home lightening his mood. "But if you ever find yourself in Windor you should come see me. It would be my pleasure to show you about. It truly is a beautiful kingdom."Ā
In spite of what its king tried to do to it.
"I'll take your word for it then." He smiled, quite glad that the other's face looks more uplifted than earlier.
While Reid as well had had his share in creating trouble for Rasheans, both occasions unknowingly and unintentionally, the one thing he had learned on what to do is accept the consequence, and do whatever you can to help recover from your mistakes, even if they will continue hating you. While he could've just held a grudge (which he realized Farah had been doing all this time), he realized it would just be useless, and it wouldn't be fair to the others.
"Ah, do you want to get settled in now for the night?" he offered.
There were several important things that Kyle had been taught about battling from his father. One that applied in this case was to not attack until you could clearly see the enemy. Even though nerves had almost caused Kyle to cast his spell, he continued to hold on, knowing that eventually his opponent would have to come out of hiding if he didnāt have magic.
"Come on!" He yelled. "You canāt hide forever!" Of course, that was exactly what he was waiting for. As soon as he saw the otherās red hair, he was going to send the spell in that direction. "Or are you scared to fight me now?" That cockiness might end up getting the best of the young hero in training if he keeps it up, thoughā¦
"RISING PHOENIX!" Out of seemingly nowhere, Reid had jumped out of his hiding spot, being actually closer than Kyle had presumed, then cried out his attack, his body being coated in flames as he aimed for the other.

"Iām not certain, really." Aslan really had no ideas at the moment. "I guess Iāll just wander around."
"Well, there's not really much here that can be actually used as some tourist attraction." Reid admitted. "But maybe I can show you to another area, maybe?"
"Yeahā¦" Airey said, nodding in agreement. It was weird that she even found herself on this world to begin with. How did she keep ending up on strange worlds to begin with, anyway? She knew the red-head had no idea as to how she got here either, which was kind of a disappointment, because she wanted to go home back to Halure. But, she was on this alien world, so she might as well make the best of it.
Airey smiled at Reid. āWell, not really.ā Airey said. āSince Iām here, I figured Iād explore a little bit. Why? Whatās up?ā Well, he had her attention if anything.
"Ah, no. I was just curious is all." Reid replied. "There's no rush really. Because most people who had ended up wandering here were always in a rush to get back to where they came from." That wasn't a lie really. The people he had assisted before were always worrying about how they were going to go back to their home world and stuff like that. So if this girl had said the same thing, he wouldn't be surprised at all.
"Forget itā¦" Senel was`t much good at explaining things, now he need to talk to somebody who can figure his situation up so he asked Reid if he knows anyone "Say,do you know a..how to say it..someone good with his brain .I need to talk to somebody about my situation."Unless somehow he was on the mainland but there were no place calledĀ Rasheans there.
"You mean a scholar?" Reid asked. He put a hand to his chin, rubbing it as he thought. "Hmmm..." He could always direct the guy to Mintche University, that's where the most intelligent in Inferia stay anyways. But then again, after their little scene there involving a certain Meredy, he might not be allowed into the area again.
He can't really contact Keele, since he's now at Celestia, and there's no current way of possibly getting there. So that leaves him with Keele's former professor, Mister Mazet.
"I think I may know of someone who can help you out." the hunter finally said. "Although he kinda lives too far from here, and it would probably take a two week walk to get there."
"Oh, well Iāll try to stay out of sight I suppose."Ā Maybe Iāll just randomly end back home sooner rather than later. āThank you for the warning, though.ā
"Hey, no problem." Reid said, a dopey smile formed on his face. "So what will you do for the time being?"

"Where Iām from, Iām a general in the military." His uniform made a lot of people skeptical when he ended up in strange places.
"Oh. I see." was Reid's simple response. He paused for a moment, trying to think of something else to say. "Can't say that people won't look at you weirdly. Even the ones at the capital would probably confuse you for a new enemy group leader or something."
Kyle hadnāt been expecting to land a hit with that attack, but he was just seeing if the other would respond in kind. Judging by Reidās reaction, however, Kyle had a feeling that Reid didnāt have the ability to use magic. He did, however, have access to Artes. Kyle had figured as much anyways.
Upon hearing the words āDemon Fangā, his body knew immediately that the best way to deal with the oncoming shockwave was to jump. He had practiced the Arte with his father plenty of times before, albeit to no avail. And jump he did, nimbly leaping over the Demon Fang before preparing another spell, this one of a stronger tier. Green energy swirled around as Kyle waited for the opportune moment to cast, looking through the trees for a sign of the other.
The older teen had already made a run for the forest, hearing the hum of a spell glyph forming. This is bad... He had to make a diversion of some sort... Uh... Aha!
As quickly as he could, Reid pulled off a Lightning Blade attack on a faraway tree, hoping the lightning's distance would reach it. To his luck, it did, and the said tree split apart, creating enough sound to hopefully get Kyle's attention, and mistake the sound for him being in that area.
The fight was on! While the redhead was prepping himself for an attack, the blond had taken a moment to cast a quick spell, a red spell glyph appearing under his feet for a brief moment before the other could run toward him. And with that, Kyle helped himself to the first move of the fight.
"Flame Drive!"Red energy whirled up around Kyle and shot out from the tip of his sword as he held it aloft, manifesting into the form of three fireballs, all of which started dipping in a wave pattern through the air as they zipped toward the other fighter.
"W-What the-?!" Out of all the things Reid could've expected, Kyle casting a spell was at the very bottom of the list. He didn't have enough time to dodge them, so he could only block them with his sword, the flam sizzling as it made contact with the metal.
So that's how he wanted to fight, huh?
IT. IS. ON.
Reid jumped back and focused energy on his sword, one foot already at the ready to make a dash. "Demon Fang!" he cried out, slashing his sword towards the other, creating a shockwave towards Kyle. After that one attack, he quickly sprinted towards the forest, not sticking around to see if the attack had landed or not.
"Thatās right, Iām not from around here."Ā Iāve never even heard of this Rasheans.Ā
"I can sorta tell... For a minute though, I thought you were part of the militia or something."
"Mister could you tell me where I am? Pwease?"
"Ah? Well uh... You're in my hometown, Rasheans." What was a pink bunny doing here?

A fight for dinner, huh? Kyle wasnāt exactly the best chef ever, so he really did not want to have to make dinner for the two of them. Meaning he was ready to fight at the best of his ability. āI donāt plan on losing!ā He said succinctly as he started rock back and forth on his heels as he usually did to prepare for the physical activity a fight would require. He was ready for anything.
Well, this was going to be an interesting day after all. It was like Kyle became his answer to his call of boredom. "Ready?" he asked, getting into a running position.
Richard was glad that despite the darkening path, they encountered no resistance. He had not encountered any monsters in this area that were beyond his ability to defend from, but he would sooner choose to avoid that conflict all together if he could.
The alternate path Reid pointed out to him certainly looked like the more travelled of the two and Richard couldnāt help but wonder how he had ended up on the more secluded of the two. Not that he would see fit to complain, had he not travelled as he had then he would never have met Reid. Still it most certainly did not speak well to his sense of direction.
"Yes, it truly does," Richard said with a nod, a brief pang of homesickness crossing his mind again. For a brief moment it was his best friendās home that stood before him. Itās windmills turning in the never ending winds. The people that ever greeted others with a friendly smile, the treasured friends he so often found within its walls. "Lhant is a small town, very much like this one near the Fendelian border. It is a wonderful community and is home to some very dear friends of mine."
"I know it not the same pace, but I find such places comforting, perhaps because they all carry such a similar energy." An energy so very different from the larger cities⦠one much warmer and more personable. "You live in a wonderful place, Reid." Ā
"That so?" Reid asked, tilting his head. He wasn't sure whether to feel glad that Richard managed to receive such nostalgia from his humble hometown, or sad that he managed to receive this nostalgia, being far away from home and everything. Well wasn't this conflicting?
"A-Ah, well I guess, thanks on behalf of everyone who lives in Rasheans." he replied awkwardly, not sure of what else to say. "From how you make it sound, Lhant sounds like a very nice place too."
"Maybe one of these days I'll visit there." the redhead commented, adding in "That is, if I knew how to get there."
