Printing my new Hedgehog Flail print! 🦔

I was just going to carve a cool flail and suddenly it turned into a hedgehog! 🦔

I cleared my schedule for a week and a half to dedicate to this project and I’m really proud of where it ended up. Every large scale project teaches me so much. No matter how many I’ve done, I always grow from them! Also, can you tell how much Baldur’s Gate I’ve been playing from this print? 😂

I’ve had a print inspired by the Witch on my print list for so many years and it just hasn’t felt right until now. Sometimes I’m so frustrated by waiting until an idea is fully formed (and it often never happens) but I’m always happy that I waited!

This is a two color, 11x17” linocut printed with Cranfield Caligo Safewash inks on Canson Mi-Teintes paper in the color Cinnamon!
