The fact the first time Mary sees her baby son since he was watching her die at 6 months old was rescuing and seeing him immediately post torture 🙃🙃

I think one of the things that gets me so sad about the scene where Sam finds out that Mary would work with people who tortured him is that he feels so sad and betrayed about it but does end up twisting it around and agreeing but she's. his mom. and it's stacking of all the ways what has happened to him and his perspective is irrelevant. like he feels betrayed and then he realises once again wow even her? It must really be my fault for taking issue with this sort of thing.
