If there was one thing always on Attisā mind it would be his mother and how he missed Greece. While he loved being in America, there was still something that drew him back to thoughts of Greece during the day. He wasnāt sure exactly how to get rid of the thoughts but he figured maybe talking about it might help. There was only one person he felt comfortable talking to about his past; Nyx, while he hadnāt seen her too often since his move he still talked to her every now and again. He knocked at her door, patiently waiting for her to open as the memories of home came flooding in.

āHuhā¦? Youāre gonna have to repeat that again. I just woke up from a nap and I didnāt hear you the first time.ā He pointed to the other before letting out a slight yawn, rubbing at his eyes.
āCuteā The Italian says with no emotion ringing in his tone this morning.Ā āis James here this morning or do I have to come back at lunch again?ā To his parents, he was the Golden Boy, to his son, he was the deadbeat runaway but to the men who he supplied with⦠goods, he could often feel like the Grim Reaper. Maddox dabbled in different things, this particular one was merely a side business to his own business.Ā
Attis quirked an eyebrow at the remark of the other, but he figured it was best to shrug it off.Ā āJames? Thereās nobody here by that name as far as Iām aware.ā he said, eyebrows knitting into a frown as he looked around the shop. He wasnāt particularly good with names, but he was fairly sure that there was no one hiding in any corner of the book store -not today at least-. He took a seat on his office chair behind the desk, eyeing the other for a second before turning his eyes to the ordering list on his computer.Ā
Ā āwould you? ugh, that would be amazing! see, thatās such a great idea!ā Cassie beamed at his suggestion.Ā āit has been a hot minutes since Iāve even read or thought about a childrenās book, iām so out of the loop I swear.ā
āI wouldnāt offer if I wasnāt genuine.ā the Greek shrugged.Ā āI think that goes for most adults -- I tend to vary with my reading as I do like the -- immaturity and just -- simple relaxation you can get from aĀ āchildrenāsā book at times.āĀ
āNeither am I, surprisingly.ā He laughed.Ā āBut together though? In one name?ā He winked.Ā āI donāt know, I just find it kinda funny.ā He shrugged.Ā āIf you donāt mind?ā
āSurprisingly? Are mechanics supposed to make a lot of money?ā Attis asked curiously, he was never one to truly discuss things like money or jobs or anything to do with that -maybe he should, it is after all an important aspect in a personās life-.Ā āDonāt tempt me Sean, I will make a list of every single Sean Patrick out there in the world -- famous and none-famous.ā he joked -- or more like half joked, because he loved to make lists that could irritate a person, nothing malicious of course just a little bit of light hearted fun for an old guy like himself.Ā āOh I mind tremendously.ā he said, sarcasm dripping off every word as he searched trough the catalog on the computer -technology sure made everything a ton simpler-.Ā āWe have it -- but I havenāt unpacked them yet. Iāll go get ya one from the back.ā Attis said, already walking off to the storage behind the store. It took him a good minute before he was able to return with the book.Ā āThere you go.āĀ

āWell, I wouldnāt want to be friends with you just for that. I like you for you. Not your money.ā He grinned, moving to look at his phone for a moment when he noticed someone liked him on Partnered. He winced a bit when he realized it was a girl and quickly swiped left.Ā āI know, I know, but Sean Patrick! Thatās my name too!ā He laughed.
āGood thing, Iām not really wealthy so.ā he chuckled lightly.Ā āI know thatās your name Sean, thereās probably plenty of Seanās and Patrickās in the world.ā he teased, grinning at the other.Ā āYou want me to check if your book is in?āĀ
āI keep forgetting all these good series! What about the spiderwick chronicles?ā she asked, her face full of amusement. How was shopping for books the highlight of her day?Ā āThis kid changes his mind about what heās into like he changes his clothes, which is all the time. I guess I could start with the first one and see how it goes. Iād rather not invest in the entire series for him to only read a few chapters before moving onto his next hobby.ā
āOh we definitely have the spiderwick chronicles, definitely recommend those of course. If you want I can make you an amazing little list, that way you can buy one book and if he sticks with reading you can come get another great book every time he ends up finishing one.āĀ
āLieees, I have a few times! But you never told me!ā He poked out his tongue, shifting his weight to another foot.Ā āThey really are. Right now Iām just thinkinā of browsing in all honesty. Kinda wanna get Jane Two by Sean Patrick Flaneryā¦.Funnily enough, heās got my name, minus the last name.ā He snickered a little.
āI donāt want people to be friends with me just because I own a book store and assume Iām rich -- Iām not.ā he chuckled.Ā āWe should have that one -- pretty sure a lot of people are named Sean, not a very rare name to have.āĀ
āIād say heās probably above his age. Heās pretty smart for a 7 year old. Iād love to see those books!ā she smiled.Ā āOh my god, I canāt believe I forgot about Harry Potter! That wonāt be to daunting of a task? reading the series?ā She asked, not wanting to burn the kid out on reading so quickly.
āWell then I definitely recommend the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan, even I enjoyed those -- he also has a few new series out which I recommend too.ā he said.Ā āIt could be -- if it is he can always leave it for another day. But who knows, maybe heāll love it. Itās worth testingāĀ
āWell damn! Congratulations! You aināt never told meĀ ābout this.ā He chuckled as he looked around.Ā āJust decided to pop in for a bit. I was taking a small walk after work and thought this place might be a good stress reliever.ā He grinned.Ā
āYou never asked.ā Attis smirked, sitting down behind the counter and checking the computer for things like shipments.Ā āBooks are always great stress relievers. Are you looking for anything in particular? Or just browsing?āĀ

Cassie had just dropped the kids off at school and was sent to the bookstore to pick up some stuff for one of the kids she nannies for. He decided he loved reading on a whim the other day and wanted more books to read so here Cassie was going to her favorite store. Walking in she looked around for someone to help her. Hearing a voice she turned to the counter smiling.Ā āI may need your help.ā she laughed.Ā āIāve been sent to pick up books for a seven year old boy and I have no idea what to get.ā she admitted, nervously.Ā āIs diary of a whimpy kid still a thing? Captain Underpants? Goosebumps? I have no clue.ā
āA seven year old boy -- well those books are definitely still a thing so you should try those. Does he tend to read for his age or up? I have a few books that are more aimed at children between nine and twelve but they can also be enjoyable for the younger and older crowd.ā he smiled.Ā āThen of course, there is also the Harry Potter series, definitely recommend seeing if heās ready for those.āĀ
He was pacing around the store, making sure all books were in the correct positions as he heard the bell from someone entering, he quickly walked back to his place behind the desk.Ā āWelcome, feel free to browse around, give me a shout if you need anything.āĀ
Sean was on his phone after work on Partnered. He sighed a little as he continued to swipe left on most of them. Until he got to Attisā photo. He gave a slight smirk as he saw his old friend and crush on there and decided to swipe right. Maybe heād see it and swipe right as well. He stood and shoved the phone back into his pocket before moving to take a long walk to clear his mind and relax a bit from work. He soon walked past the local book shop, not knowing Attis worked there. When he heard that familiar voice, he chuckled and gave a small smile.Ā āHey there, Atty. Didnāt know you were workinā here now.ā He teased playfully as he moved over to the desk.
Attis gave a slight grin at the familiar face, before nodding.Ā āI actually own this place -- itās my little pride and joy.ā he said, lifting up his arms as to show off his precious, little, book shop.Ā āWhat brings you in today Sean?āĀ
Attis was never one for online dating, in truth heād found the idea truly terrifying, but after years of failed relationships and messed up dates he had decided to take a gamble and sign up.Ā
It was a couple of months after heād signed up for partnered, and he was finally getting comfortable with the idea of it being a normal thing. He was sitting in his book store, knowing that around these hours there were barely any customers, there was a lonely little old lady in the corner why came by everyday just to sit and read with company. Attis took this little downtime to get everything in order -and to casually check the site, because who knows maybe someone hot matched with him?-Ā

HEY, IāM (ATTIS WOLFE), A (47) YEAR OLD, (SINGLE), (CIS MALE) WHO IDENTIFIES AS (HOMOSEXUAL), (BOOKSTORE OWNER). IāM LOOKING FOR (monogamous relationship). SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT I LOOK LIKE (ANDREW LINCOLN) BUT I DONāT SEE IT. (Sara, 22, she/her, GMT+2)
Attis comes from a single mother home.
He has three brothers, the oldest two are his half brothers, the youngest and he are full brothers.
Always had a great bond with his mother, attempted to have a successful relationship with all his brothers but the elder two tended to stick together.
There is a fiveyear age gap between the second son and Attis, hence the elder two not being interested in the ābabiesā.
He is a fatherly type person, he is overly worried and basically wants to take care of anyone he can.Ā
Heās a sucker for cheesy romance novels and movies.
He opened up his book store 7 years ago and is still extremely proud he did (book store name to be added).
Heās never hidden that he was gay, but he isnāt extremely open about it either (heāll only really come out if people ask, or if heās pointing out how hot a guy is). This because he doesnāt feel itās necessary to point out heās gay, as straight people tend to not point it out either.
Heās a very righteous person, while being fatherly and usually over protective he also knows to put boundaries down with people and not be shit on.Ā
His mother passed away when he was only 20 years old, which hit him pretty hard as he was really close to her.
Attisā mother is Greek, he lived in Greece until the age of 25 when he decided to chase his American dream.Ā

āNo problem.ā Attis smiled, looking down at the lemur.Ā āI think medical supplies will be right on top with food. Anything in particular you know weāre running low on?ā he asked.Ā āShe seemed fine, eager to start working it all out.āĀ
While Attis was pretty confident he had been a good father for his little girl by learning things to make sure he could give her the best growing up experience ever, there was always one fatal flaw in his parenting -- that being that he could not get himself to be mad at her even when he knew he should. He couldnāt tell her off or really punish her, mainly out of fear of her starting to hate him. It weighed on him that he had to rely on Theo so heavily for that side of raising Scout, but after years and years he still could not get himself to really raise his voice at her.Ā
So when he found the wallet that was clearly not hers he couldnāt help but let out a deep sigh. He was mad at her -- no he wasnāt, he was mildly frustrated as he waited to confront her about it. So he sat in her living room, waiting impatiently for her to be back. Once she got there he immediately asked how she got it. He hadnāt expected any positive answer -- but honestly he had hoped that maybe just maybe he had left it behind on accident after visiting her. Which was not the case, hell heād even accept him sleeping with her and leaving it behind, not her stealing it though.Ā
He didnāt say much on their walk over to Theo, mainly because he couldnāt find the words. He kept thinking of things to say to her, to tell her off on but they never felt right. He pounded on Theoās door.Ā āYou really -- just -- damnit. Theo I need your help!ā he yelled as he pounded on the door again.Ā
