Grabs freshly baked poffin, moves said poffin in front of the Pokémon, waits for response. “You have a very sassy Pokémon right there you know?”

She almost immediately lunges for the treat, and gets the entire hand in her beak. Good luck detaching her.

“Of course she is. She’s a Dragon type. And you need to be more careful where you put your limbs.”

....... “well, at least she likes the poffin.” Dia stated “besides if she wants another one she’ll have to let go.” Diamond was already armed with another poffin. This time on a plate.

Dia was having lunch with his Pokémon that being said there was a lot of food. Although between him, and his Pokémon the food was easily being eaten. That being said not ALL of his Pokémon were out, if he let Reg out right now it would probably grab all of the attention of everybody around.

Other than being an ideal lunch spot diamond decided this location might be well suited for training as well. However he got sidetracked by lunch, upon seeing another person pass by he decided to offer some food to the onlooker. “Want some?”

She’d been heading back from a League conference in Sinnoh, in full champion’s getup and all. Archeops seems to be perfectly happy riding about on her shoulder, randomly making a lunge for her tiara.

It takes her a minute or two to spot the boy sitting on what looks to be a grassy hillside, and even less time for Archeops to hop off and start chewing on his shoe.

Once she gets a good look at the kid, she figures he isn’t much of a threat. She can let her guard down.

“Nah, thanks. I just got some stuff. Archeops is interested, though.”

Upon the Archeops gnawing on his shoe he grabbed a few sandwiches and offered them to the Pokémon. “You have a pretty fun loving Pokémon you know?” He took another bite of food and began speaking again “I’m waiting for my friend so we can train, some more!” He chucked “well two friends, but I’m not sure when Platina will be done helping the professor with his research. So I’m eating lunch while my other friend to finish shopping.”

Diamond stood up “my name’s Diamond, and this is my team... well aside from one other Pokémon. But that one gets a lot of attention when out of it’s pokeball. So my friends told me to stop letting it out constantly.” He chuckled as he ate the rest of one of his sandwiches. “Do you have any other fun Pokémon on your team?”

There was a trilling hum from the avian’s pointed beak…curious. She had not met a human that had such ties to a legend like that….especially not that particular one.

“Truly that is rather curious. Not many encounter a legend as such and live. And to come into contact with the lord of the distortion world at that. But…it does make sense why you have such a strange aura and scent. You are one lucky human…no wonder Demitri wanted you to meet me. It is not often that one eludes deaths grasp. What is your name young one?”

“Well, before that I had to help to stop Palkia and Dialga from ripping apart the fabric of space and time, which is why Giratina appeared in the first place. And I didn’t exactly avoid death, It’s weird but like it was like I died and then woke up in the distortion world. The distortion world feels very... apathetic... for a lack of better words. It’s neither hot nor cold, and physics are really weird in there. My name? I’m Diamond, Dia for short.” He began to eat a rice ball and remembered that he had poffins, so he grabbed one from his bag and offered it with is mouth still half full “oh I made these myself, they’re called poffins, they’re made with berries and are meant for Pokémon!”

Oh! Demitri had heard those names before! they were legendary pokemon! He’s heard his Mama talk of them. He couldn’t help perk up, excited to hear this human’s story…not many human’s come into contact with legends after all! Maybe Mama would be interested in hearing about this as well!

“Cuuuu~!” He seemed excited, but seemed to head off in a different direction then where he pointed earlier, heading back the way he came. All the while gesturing the human to follow him.

Dia followed along “I take it you want to hear about it then. I wonder where you are leading me though.” Diamond began thinking of One-off jokes he could pull for his currently small audience of one. “Hey, could you throw me a bone, and tell me what kind of jokes you like?” A bone pun, that’s a decent starter joke for his current audience.

Oh! This human was funny too! There was a chuckle from within that skull mask, clearly the tiny Cubone appreciated the pun. Ah but the Envoy had lead him into a cave, still going and going…He had to introduce this one to his Mama now….Funny, and with interesting stories!

Deep within that cavern, something shifted…large wings tipped in claws opening and stretching. Seems she had woken and noticed the Cubone was gone…about to come look for him when he appeared once more….with a human?

“Demitri…you worry me so. But you are safe. Who is this you have brought here?”

“…” No matter how Diamond looked at it he was nervous. Meeting a legendary isn’t a normal thing that happens every day. And moreso this one was the embodiment of death. Diamond had been acquanted with death before, truthfully he wouldn’t be alive right now if he hadn’t gotten ‘linked’ to the distortion world by touching it three times. But in his experience, dying sucks. That being the case, he would let the cubone, who apparently is acquanted with the death bird introduce him.

In the meantime Diamond grabbed a donught from his bag and began eating it. He got hungry when nervous… and about any other time, but still. He needed something to do to calm his nerves.

She noticed the nervousness of the young human in her territory, glancing at her Envoy curiously….the Cubone must have made friends with them, for him to willingly bring them to her like this.

“Worry not young one….it is not your time. I will not take you to the other side this day. You may rest easy in my presence, for no harm will come to you under my watchful eye. But tell me…why do you reek of death? Death and I have not come to visit you before…I would have remembered one such as you”

Being told that was... oddly... reassuring. But the relief was short lived when he was told he ‘reeks of death’ he knew exactly what would have caused that “It’s a long story. But I had a run in with an evil organization who was misusing legendaries, and got hit directly by Giratina’s Shadow Dive move when I pushed my friend out of the way... but as you can see I was lucky enough to be alive and well...”

If you could call getting linked to the distortion world lucky “to paraphrase that if you didn’t catch it all: I died because of Giratina but instead of dying I was sent to the distortion world due to coming into contact with it 3 times. No offense, but dying sucks.”

I’m tired, my legs ache and I’m bored...
