Tried a lot of new things in this picture, and I'm pretty satisfied. Made those crystals by myself, which I'm kind of proud of haha. After I put them in and saw the rainbow, I was like "huh, kinda gay... Well, he is gay, so I guess this works out then!" I was going to do a whole lot more for the background, but Gimp took away all my new brushes and won't let me install them again for whatever reason, so not sure how to fix that... Thanks, Gimp, for always making my life complicated and never having an answer to my questions anywhere on the internet. Always appreciated! My OC, Tempest. He is a Celestial god who controls magical crystals.

Being in my top 10 favorite movies, I decided to draw Deadpool. I’m pretty pleased with how this one turned out. 

I knew I'd be drawing Atsushi from the anime Bungou Stray Dogs the moment I saw his purple and yellow eyes <3

I had actually done this picture traditionally on Easter while bored at work, but fucked up a lot because I'm seriously terrible at traditional art these days. I decided to trace over it digitally and color it so that it didn't go to complete waste. It's not my best, but it was fun :D Tis my OC, Story

My OC's Aarei and Fable from my Giver Gods series. I had planned to do more with the background in this, but by the end I realized that I'm just not skilled enough to do what I wanted yet, so I backed out and did something simple. Such a waste of 5 light sources when all I needed was 4 D:

This took me around 20 hours total. This is another remake of one of my past favorite pictures done in 2009. The goal was the humanize Lewis Carroll's characters and then include as many colors as possible. This was meant to be the scene where the Hatter and March Hare fixed the White Rabbit's watch. This is what 2 years of growth in artwork looks like. I was constantly going back to my old one to fix things until it finally became evident that it's literally beyond fixing completely to my liking. This was mostly due to my layer issues. I only used 2 for the original. TWO. First for the line art, second for all of the colors including the damn background. I finally said fuck it and decided to just redraw it completely. Changing Fable's pose was the main thing that bothered me in the original, followed by the skinny af anatomy, then the pixilation of such a small file with sketchy lines, and lastly the clock itself. I like to think I've come a long way ^.^

Yeah, I redrew it lol. It was high time that I did. It took me at least 15  hours or so. Even with all the shortcuts I've learned in Gimp, I still manage to spend more and more time on these new pieces. Backgrounds and clocks honestly aren't my specialty, but I'm making progress. After I got done and posted it, I realized a few mistakes, but I don’t really care about that right now. It’s too late lol. 

My OC Tempest, the Celestial God of ambrosial rain. He has the ability to control a particular type of crystal, which is what I tried to recreate in this picture, but I still lack the skill to draw exactly what I envision regarding this kind of thing. I swear hands and feet get harder and harder to draw in each new picture. I've also never drawn actual tattoos before. And it's a toga, not a dress, I promise.

Yes, yes, I understand he looks feminine with a braid. No, I don't care, so you don't need to point it out (you know who you are). Bleidd's hair is actually a lot longer than this, but for the sake of a good picture, I chopped off a few feet. Braids aren't my forte. I swear I used to be confident in my ability to draw hands, but they seem to be harder and harder for me now days.

How long did this take me, you ask? Forever. It took me forever. For lack of a better pun, it took so long because I'm trying to branch out and do more backgrounds. I've been planning on doing this for a while now and I'm pretty happy with how close it is to how I originally envisioned it. I've just be reading about Celtic and Norse mythology, and this came to mind.

I've been watching Kekkai Sensen and am totally in love with the speed monkey, Sonic. So I had the idea of drawing Sonic with one of my other obsessions, Mokona from XxxHolic. Probably my best idea ever. 

Every time I draw this guy, I remember how complicated his character design is and realization hits me that it's going to take me forever like every other time in the past. Still fun regardless. My OC Story from my Giver Gods series

More old artwork from last year. I know the antlers aren't practical, but it's called fantasy and shut up I draw what I want. My characters haven't been known to wear practical things anyway. I tried looking at tutorials on what to do with the orb, but none of them were working, so I said screw it and did it myself. Coloring her hair was so annoying, won’t lie. I’ll probably go back and fix those braids one day too. Her name is Madeline from my Giver Gods series.

I’ll go back to fix the face of the right girl some time hopefully soon.
