Hey folks! So, I'm sure pretty much no one still follows this blog, and I'm sure that after what has probably been almost a year no one is under any illusions that this blog is still active or open. I know that I, personally, have taken a big step back from the kin community. I am still fictionkin, but as I age, I find it harder to relate to and comfortably hang out with other kin people who are often significantly younger than me. Sorry kids, grandma can't come to the kin server, she's got bingo night with the other ladies from the retirement home.

That said, I am at long last going to officially close the ask box, change my header info to reflect this change, take down my carrd, and delete most asks and text posts so that this blog can simply serve as a gallery of my old work. If I reopen at any point or rejoin the kin community in some capacity, I will let everyone know!

So I found this one a wee bit tricky comparatively because no one in the house has really tried out the Blue Lions route yet so I haven’t seen a whole ton of it. I may remake this once I get to know Dimitri a little better. But for the time being, I’m happy with it. I hope any Dimitri kins out there like it!

For my favorite troublemaker! I had so much fun making this one and I feel like it came out very pretty. I love working with yellow and gold! This was particularly inspired by my good friend @pchoo-awoo, the Claude kinnie currently living in my basement, but I hope all other Claudes enjoy as well!

This is an aesthetic for myself in this life as I am right now! I made it for fun, just as kind of like a think piece I guess? Since my primary creative outlet is taking one of my lifetimes and creating a window into that lifetime summed up in nine images, I figured what was stopping me from doing that for my current life?

All these Animal Crossing boards reminded me that I hadn’t made a board for myself! I wanted to include the things from my canon that were prominent and that made me happy, such as office work, espresso, the cherry blossoms and other flowers in my village, and the seashell my mayor brought me. I also included my favorite blouse and my town’s native fruit, which was apples! Also both of those lattes are for me. I’m so tired. (Hilariously I don’t actually like coffee in this life--- maybe I overdid it as Isabelle and my taste buds got fed up!)

For anon! So it occurred to me that a while back I had actually made a Digby aesthetic on a whim, so I spruced it up a bit and reposted it. It has originally been for someone who had really not done right by me, so I was really pleased with the opportunity to clean it up a bit and repurpose it for someone who will appreciate it!

For anon, who fondly remembers cooking and gardening, having their town’s native fruit be apples, and enjoyed looking at the lighthouse and a wisteria trellis in town. Sorry I couldn’t include your friends, anon, it’s tricky to reference specific animals because there’s not really a real-world equivalent of a white and pastel pink deer or a teal goat! Alas.
