Trick or treat!

(Expanding on this amazing post from a couple of months ago.)

“Lavi” is the 49th alias of the Bookman successor, correct? Does anyone else think that’s kind of an unrealistically high number, considering he’s only supposed to be eighteen?

If he’s been at the Order for two years, give or take, that leaves sixteen. He probably wasn’t recruited as an infant, so take a few years off for his early childhood too… let’s say six, to be reasonable. That leaves ten years for the other forty-eight aliases. That’s an average of only two and a half months per alias, though I’m sure it varied.

Wars kind of tend to run a fair bit longer than that, generally speaking.

So, unless quite a number of those aliases were only in use for a very short amount of time, Lavi might – like Kanda and Allen and Cross and Road – be older than he looks. (Obviously, there’s precedent.)

If that’s the case, there’s one more thing that might be of interest here. 

Does this look like it might be wheat to anyone else?

It does to me. If so, where else have we seen a field like it?

That’s not conclusive, but boy, it sure it is interesting.

Anyway, I guess I’ll theorize a bit now, since that’s my favourite hobby.
