“What the hell are you doing in here?” It was 2am and she’d been asleep after being up since dawn and Nova was suitably pissed off to have a drunk trying to crawl in her bed. Considering she knew she’d left people in the living room with pizza and booze, it’s wasn’t too surprising an event even if it was unpleasant and Nova crinkled her nose as the smell hit her. “Ugh, did you spill a bottle of booze on you or something? You reek.”

Nova: See this? This is me calling up someone else because you’re not here to fuck me.

"Not if it means going hungry, huh? Nova asked, laughing and bumping Cheyenne with her hip. "Stir fry is nearly done, so you have great timing." And it had absolutely nothing to do with Nova knowing Cheyenne's schedule, of course. You could say a lot about Nova's habits as a roommate, but she liked to think that when it came to keeping someone fed, she was pretty damn good at making sure they didn't go hungry. Other things, however... not so much. "That's not your way of saying I stole your underwear again, is it? Because if I did, you can steal them right back."

“You know, I don’t care. Not if you don’t.” Nova said, tapping her nails against the empty box in her hands before looking down at it, reading the label of the condom box again like she might have forgotten what she was holding. They could go out and pick up a box, or just order some online from that store with the vibrator she wanted, but it wasn’t like the risk of anything happening was that high and it wouldn’t be the first time she played the risk game. “I mean, we’ve been together for a while now... would it really be the worse thing to happen?” Considering the circumstances, clearly not. “Might be pretty hot.” 

“I’m working on being zen and positive and that means that today I’m glad that virtual classes means I don’t have to worry about putting on pants.” Of course, if she hadn’t taken time off, she could have graduated by this point, but it was a little late to be dealing with things like that. No time to waste on what ifs. “So how about you? What are you grateful for today?” She asked as she sipped at her cup of tea before leaning back on the couch, spreading her legs in suggestion. “Maybe like the fact that my lack of pants makes it easier to get in them?”

“If you’re going to judge me for cooking while only wearing an apron, you can just put up the plate I set for you because you’re not getting fed.” Nova teased as she continued to shimmy to the music she had playing in the kitchen, pushing vegetables around with a spatula as she did so. “Besides, I’ve got my panties on, it’s not like I’m completely naked. All the important bits are covered.”
