Christians who support gay rights:

All I ever hear is that Christians are the worst, most unaccepting people on planet Earth. If I tell someone I’m a Christian and I support equal marriage, I’m immediately tossed in the dirt and told that I “can’t do that because doesn’t your silly book say…….". This comes from all sorts of people. It’s hurtful. It’s saying that because I’m this religion, I #1. Have a Bible that means absolutely nothing and is a “silly book". #2. I can’t support people loving one another. It makes me feel excluded or like I’m a bad person. It makes me feel disrespected and it’s hurtful. Who is anyone to deny me to say that someone can love someone? In the end, if someone says they support equality, they shouldn’t be questioned at all. They should be accepted immediately as part of the pro-equality cause and that should be that. Questioning is for the other side of the argument, not the same side.
