“Isabelle. Nice to officially meet a Lightwood.” Taking the other woman’s hand in hers, she shook it with a wide smile before releasing it. “Lianna Dearborn. I’ve seen you and your brother Alec around, but I’ve never met either of you before.” It was an honor meeting one of the Shadowhunters she looked up to, even though they were around the same age. Isabelle was a wonderful inspiration to female Shadowhunters at the Institute.

“The point, Cheryl, is that exactly my point. You don’t listen, you don’t think, the story is that you are in pain and need help.”

“Izzy, you just look like, well, woah. I have no clue how you can fight in heels and dresses like that.”

“I practically live between vampires and werewolves, I can more tell humans than anything.”

  𝓐listair furrowed his brow as a reaction to the man’s comment about getting with the times, and old brits being incapable of doing so. He was a tad taken back by how forward he was. “Who’s to say that my lifestyle hasn’t worst just fine these past centuries.”

   “You look like you hide in dark spaces.” Peter spoke bluntly, the only way he knew how. “I know us vampires can’t be in the sun, glittery skin and all but we don’t have to be cave dwellers. “

          “Listen here old man, “ Peter began looking at the older vampire. “You need to get with the times, blend in and enjoy yourself. Or are old Brits incapable?”

        “As fascinating as this story is to you, I’m bored so if you could get to the point I’d appreciate it.”

         “I don’t think we’ve been formally introduced. Isabelle Lightwood.”

         “If you could stop staring at me like I have 3 heads that would be great.”

“Charity or not, you deserve to have someone genuinely ask if you are okay, but if you are so fine hiding behind the fire persona that you have going for you Blossom, I’ll leave you alone.”

        “So tell me Little Cullen. Does your sense of smell not exist to run with wolves?”

         “I’m not sure which charity you work for, but you can take your understanding gaze and pouty face in another direction. I don’t need an intervention.”
