PLAYING IN THE DARK will go out completely on BBC Radio 3 from 7:30 to 10:30pm on December 23rd.

It will go out in two slightly trimmed halves on BBC Radio 4, on the early morning on the 25th of December and the afternoon of January 1st.

An edited version of it will be on BBC Radio 4 at 6 am on Christmas Day, and in the afternoon on New Year’s Day. But I don’t have a page for it.

also, food delivery peeps. all the above danger + dealing with more drunk aliens.

SPACE UBER

tourist traps. “welcome to the galaxy’s biggest ball of yarn. yes, it’s this one, not the one on mars. the martians are filthy liars and they’ve always been jealous of our superior attraction.”

science museum tour guides. the museums have gotten…….very big. it’s a very exhausting job, but it’s so worth it when the field trips full of kids from various galaxies get all excited

Science fiction and fantasy isn’t just a white people thing! I’ve talked about some of these books before, but here’s a new slide show entirely for SFF authors of color. Also, I was only doing one book per author. Lots of these authors have multiple books. And like it says at the end, there’s even more SFF books by authors of color but fitting everything in one post would be an impossible task.

Also, could you please not rec white authors on this post? Even if they’ve written a book starring a person of color. I want this post to be focused around the work of authors of color.
