Im so mad because I hate social gatherings because they give me social anxiety and I feel so out of place and uncool and don’t know what to do with me once I’m there because I hate small talk especially with strangers, but even with people I know because conversations tend to drift to past party or sexual expierence. I got neither, and I don’t enjoy talking about it. And if an take a few minutes but it’s all the time and I hate it. So my uni friends know I don’t like going but as it turns out they turned it into a meme and make fun of it by saying Sorry don’t have time today as a joke, which is what I tend to say when I don’t feel comfortable with going. And I feel so hurt by that, I can’t explain it. It’s just. I already feel so uncomfortable when I go but I let me ge pushed into it and I regret it every time. But I go because I want to spend time with my friends. But know I feel like it’s not even appreciated and they seriously think I’m just prude and a buzz-kill. And i kinda wanna tell someone about this and how much it hurt me to hear that, but I don’t even think I know them well enough to do that or that I’m just overthinking, but I seriously need new friends or them to realize that I hate everything about this rn.
