Life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient.

Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.

When you start doubting yourself, remember how far you have come. Remember everything that you have faced, all the battles you have won, and all the fears you have overcome.

The true mark of maturity is when somebody hurts you and you try to understand their situation instead of trying to hurt them back.

I began to understand that suffering and disappointments and melancholy are there not to vex us or cheapen us or deprive us of our dignity but to mature and transfigure us.

When we stop talking, please tell me the reason. Don’t let me hang on this string of fear. I’m assuming the worst. Tell me if you just want to be alone or if I’m bothering you or if something’s wrong. I’m here for you but you’re not for me. It seems like that. It seems like I miss you beyond comprehension, but to you I probably never cross your mind.
