Jamison looked up at Jack with a smug grin on his face. He felt the cool trickle of blood down his upper lip from his nose where he’d gotten socked. Their scuffle did a number on the junker’s slim frame. Jamison huffed and slumped his head back with a groan, further exposing his neck and torso. His body was bruised and riddled with marks where Jack had landed good hits on him.  

“Are you about done running your mouth, Fawkes?” Jack spat, shaking his fist to the side to pop his knuckles.
