Hi Lissi! I have a little question about interval running (like 1min fast, then 1min slow etc), do you think that it helped you run faster? What i mean is if they worked better than running at the same pace for the whole run? Have a nice day!

Hey Lissi! War es sehr teuer, das Auslandssemester in Kanada zu machen? Falls dir das nicht unangenehm ist, kÜnntest du sagen, wie viel es ungefähr fßr dich gekostet hat? Ich wßrde so etwas auch gerne machen, aber ich mache mir ein wenig Sorgen um den finanziellen Aspekt...
Ja, das war es schon. Aber es war eine unglaublich tolle Erfahrung und jeden Cent wert. Wenn du das auch machen mĂśchtest - und ich kannâs dir nur empfehlen - dann sollte das auch mĂśglich sein! Du kannst ja jetzt schon nach einem Nebenverdienst suchen, anfangen zu sparen, im Sommer vielleicht nochmal einen Ferienjob machen (da verdient man ja oft richtig gut), deine Eltern nach UnterstĂźtzung fragen und sonst dich bei deiner Uni nach FinanzierungsmĂśglichkeiten erkundigen. Es gibt auf jeden Fall auch Stipendien, da muss man sich nur rechtzeitig bewerben.Ich mĂśchte hier keine genauen finanzielle Angaben machen, aber wenn du mir privat schreibst, erzähle ich dir gerne wie viel ich wofĂźr ausgegeben habe.Liebe GrĂźĂe :)
When @elephantsarevegan and I are together thereâs always lots of delicious vegan food involved.. Seitan-avocado sandwiches, lasagna, oatmeal bowls, kale soup, oven baked potatoes and veggies with seitan, pancakes, lunch at my favourite vegan restaurant and super chocolatey and fudgey brownies :)

I'm at the airport now waiting to board the first flight of my journey home and it feels so weird. I kinda feel like I arrived in Victoria only two weeks ago, and kinda like it had been my home for multiple years. I'm so so sad to leave Victoria and UVic behind, but I have collected many amazing memories here, with the best friends I could have asked for. I am endlessly grateful and feeling so lucky because my semester abroad literally could not have been more perfect :')

Made the best out of my last two days here in Victoria with incredible vegan food: (1) Waffles with coconut whipped cream, banana, walnuts and maple syrup (2) A savory yeast but with âmeatâ, veggies, cheese and a peppermint hot cocoa (3) Beyond Meat burger with âbaconâ strips, fried onion, cheese, bbq sauce (it was unreal!!) and fries + Beyond Meat sausage hot dog with mayo and sauerkraut (legit tastes and has the consistency of a real sausage).
One of those days where my planned morning run didnât happen until itâs dark because I couldnât motivate myself all day. It only took me 100 m until I started enjoying it and having fun though, and it turned out to be one of the best runs in a while!Â

This weekendâs vegan eats in Vancouver :)
1-3 MeeT: sweet chili cauliflower wings, mushroom and onion rings burger, a cronut with cinnamon-sugar coating filled with coconut bavarian cream. 4 Heirloom Restaurant: the best French toast EVER with coconut cream, banana cream, avocado ganache and roasted hazelnuts (+ the best matcha Iâve had). 5 MeeT again: Thai noodle bowl and another cronut for dessert. 6 + 7 Cartems: a chocolate hazelnut crunch donut for me and a candied nut orange one for my friend. 8 The Naam: A veggie burrito with sesame fries and miso gravy.
