It’s a good thing that the brunette willingly accepted Mei’s offer of help, because it isn’t optional; it’s mandatory. She is going to help this poor soul to her feet if she has to keep knocking her down to do so. In one quick pull she hauls the other girl to her feet and dusts herself off, mentally praising her imaginary bravery and valor for such a daring rescue mission.
"Uh, huh?" She tilts her head to the side, the presence of her long pigtails exaggerating the movement. "Not really, no." Thanks for shielding me from pain, nameless victim. "I think you broke my fall a little." She’s probably experience a little bruising on her knees later, but the actual damage was minimal.
"If you ever wanted to be a professional pillow, I think you could pull it off!" Nods.
゜゚・☆ A professional pillow? Touko had never heard of anything so absurd, and it was weird to hear that from someone who had just fell on top of her. Oh well, she'll take it as a compliment. "Um, thank you, I'll look into the career of, uh... professional pillow."
Well, at least she was some help to the other, and at least she wasn't blaming Touko for falling when clearly it was Mei's fault. She didn't really enjoy people like that, in fact, she wasn't a big fan of people in the first place. It was hard to socialize with others, and she found it awkward and sometimes boring. "Um, thanks again, uhh..."
Is this the part where they exchange names or something? Hey, might as well. "My name is.. Touko, um, what's yours?"
