ACTUAL citizens and media is very interesting to me in regards to c!tommy. one second youre 14, youre leading a war effort and youre a fucking hero!! theres papers about you about this kid who hated reading except when it came to obsessing over war strategies and whatnot (thank his Almost but not really uncle figure technoblade for that), went from playing with wooden swords in his backyard to defending a country in the matter of a few years. Hes self trained, a prodigy in the making. Literal poster child of the war effort!! Then flash forward a year or two later, the people have changed. A smear campaign on Schlatts behalf would do nothing short than kill this affection for their effort. Not to mention THE 16TH?? suddenly that bright eyed kid is appearing out of the ravines for the first time in months, his brother blew up a country and the kid KNEW about the plan?? Suddenly maybe hes not so charming maybe hes even DANGEROUS maybe Dream was right about him all along, hes not fun hes angry and impulsive and wont answer ANY questions about his dead brother! Hes violent. He set a house on fire. Theres word that another exile is being considered, that sounds like something that definitely needs to make the papers.
