Nauseous.

I didn't eat dinner last night, because I was meant to be going out for coffee and cake with my best friend this morning. She cancelled because she's been working lots lately and she's exhausted. Fine, all good, no grudges here, I love her to bits and if skipping a friend-date with me means she gets some extra rest, I'm all for it.

Anyway, my tummy woke me up at 3am with its grumbling, got some good sounds, made this post, went back to sleep.

Woke up at 5.30ish and it was like my stomach had rumbled itself out. It's now 9.30, my tummy keeps tensing and getting tight, like it does when it's about to growl or rumble really loudly, but all I'm getting is a few really quiet grumbles or the odd squeaky noise.

I want to feel the growl in my ribs, like my stomach's trying to turn itself over. I want to feel that tension in my tummy snap like a rubber band as my stomach contracts on an echoing rumble. I want to hear my stomach tell me it's empty and hollow as my whole tummy clenches and writhes with the force of its cries.

being with me means getting spoiled.

being with me means a life of comfort, of joy, of never wanting for anything.

being with me means getting fat.

like a partner going hungry for mutual pleasure between them and their partner, so they can enjoy the flusteredness of a rumbly tummy later

My break is coming up, but I already had my snacks like two hours ago. I get hungry three hours after a filling meal now, nevermind some half-filled bag of cheezits

I think my stomach knows what time it’s about to be— I keep feeling it clench and cramp with how empty it is. The growls are getting louder than the lobby music now, heh
