“Post”, which is a new performance from their series “8”, AslieMk explores the relationship between body and architecture which is explored through human history through a posthumanist perspective. AslieMk invites spectators to their material laboratory in a distopic future and exposes a further projection of the fetish of personalization/designing which starts up from nowadays. They show an experiment of in/organic bounds that we can confront in our relationship with our living spaces and everyday objects. They carry out an experiment of hybridization of body and space by taking half dead tissues from a person’s body and transferring them to architecture.

Performative intervention, 28 days

Bilocation, Autoscopy, Dedoublement and Other Third at AslieMk’s Time and Space Research Laboratory, lets the audience witness two science people experimenting on the process of teleporting their clones of body-images from one point to another. During their each attempt of teleporting, their body-images separate into pieces and reunite back, multiplying within different time/space/conscious combinations.

The performance will be held in collaboration of Top Transdisciplinary Project Space and international performance art platform Performistanbul supported by SAHA. The performance will also be supported by Roberto Cimetta Mobility Fund.

University as a Public Space is a project that questions the existence of Bilgi University in the public sphere through the actionb of walking. The people who are participating in the walk are invited to review the events and situations at certain stops which demonstrates the issues that the university have been through in recent years. These are presented as a dossier resembling criminal records, provide a read-out of various experiences in the camous. This walking action is performed by the audience as a self guided tour with the help of dossier given  at the entrance of the campus.

Sanatçı kolektifi poşe ve Transmaking Amberplatform işbirliği ile üretilen “Kamusal Alan Olarak Üniversite” Bilgi Üniversitesi’nin kamusal alanda varoluşunu yürüme eylemi üzerinden sorgulayan bir projedir. Yürüme eylemine katılan kafile belirli duraklarda Üniversite’nin geçirmiş olduğu olaylar ve durumları incelemeye davet edilecektir. Bu duraklardaki durum ve olaylar, bir nevi sabıka kaydı, genel hatlarıyla üniversitenin geçirmiş olduğu deneyimleri yarı kamusal bir alan üzerinden tekrar bir okuma sağlayacaktır ve bu eylem bir turistik geziymişçesine şekil bulacaktır.

“In a collaboration with visual artist Aylin Yavuz for her solo exhibition, AslieMk unravel a border bound by the space of cords in uninterrupted repetition by tying and re-tying the cords, thus becoming a work of art itself. The meditative procedure leads to concentration and communication between the performers and visitors.Yavuz' dissolving of body lines takes place indirectly in an artistic process of aesthetic transmission and acts as another moving level and dissolving boundary between the drawn lines on the walls.”
