Breakfast was good. Howard didn't really need to eat, but Phillip's cooking was so amazing that he didn't care about that. He would miss it on his journey.
"The stars have disappeared." He told Phillip between bites of an omelette.
"They have? I didn't notice." Phillip replied. He never cared for the stars as much as Howard did, but that was alright. Howard couldn't expect a mortal like Phil to understand his homesickness.
"I'm going to search for where they've gone." He uttered. He knew Phil would worry, silly rabbit that he was, but he had made up his mind already.
Phillip paused, staring at his plate for a moment, then he nodded. "Alright, give me a bit to pack and then we'll leave."
"We?" Howard was surprised. Phil had always seemed attached to his life, not the type to go far from home.
"Yes, goodness knows what could happen to you out there on your own." He smiled.
Howard couldn't help but smile as well. "Thank you, friend. Your aid is most appreciated."
The two finished their breakfast in silence.
