Ask the Sky

I watched the live updates from the Cassini mission yesterday and, as I usually do with big, long-term space missions that are coming to an end, got emotional about a small machine a very long way from home and space exploration in general. So I wrote a poem. It’s not very good, but I like it.

I watched

breathless

as a tiny piece of earth made one giant

leap

onto a comet

that looked like a duck

I waited to hear if Philae lived

Philae slept

I watched

breathless

as a tiny piece of earth

sped onwards out of our solar system

seeking forever

I waited to hear if Voyager found more secrets

Voyager drifted

I watch

breathless

as a tiny piece of earth

falls

blazing

through a world of gas and ash

and melts into nothing

I wait to hear if Cassini chirps

one more time in the darkness

Cassini falls

silent

I will watch

breathless

As a tiny piece of Earth

Drifts cautiously over red rocks

And delivers even tinier pieces of Earth

To walk on red soil

I will wait to hear from Mars

Of those of Earth who will walk in other worlds

First of all, this are NOT AUs. These are all new characters with different design, personalities and stories. In one some space theories are canon, and in others not. For example: in this blog’s Universe, the moons are persons, in sick!planets they’re peluches. Ok, now we can begin~

- THE ORIGIN. It was just a group where me and my friends roleplayed the planets (in the hetalia fandom) in 2011/2012. I had Neptune, Phobos, Ganymede( he’s the only one who wasn’t my oc when I roleplayed) and Black Hole.

- Humanizations for this blog. The idea was born in 2015 ‘cause a friend of the precedent group has continued to make humanizations (she has like 4 Universes) and…. idk, I really love her humanizations and I wanted to make mine humanizations too for years, but the inspiration arrived only in september 2015, and so I created Earth. *ZAM ZAM ZAAAAAM* - Sick!planets: The Planets are humans which have sicknesses or mental problems that are connected to the planets’ atmospheres and conditions. I’m pretty fond of them, so maybe I’ll post them here or I could do an event where you can ask to them instead of the usual ones. - City!planets: Planets who live in a city and… Just this. Nothing special. But still, it’s a project that I love. One day, I hope that I can make a comic about them. Oh, and the stars are the mayors and the planets are their inhabitants. The Galaxies are presidents/kings/queens/emperors of the countries and so on. - Culture!planets: Just a graphical project. They don’t have a personality or anything. I just wanted to make a humanization where every planet comes from a place and time, different from out world. - Mythology!planets: Even this is just a graphical project and… I’m stuck on this because it’s pretty difficult. Every planet i is a mythology creature, but it’s hard find a creature for every planet… Help pls :c reblog this post saying what mythologic creature are your planets PLS I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS PROJECTS AAAAAAH - Demon!planets: Another project that I LOVE. Every planet is a demon and all of them serve Sun, the Emperor. I’ll do a comic on this too. And there is a war between stars too. And Sirius is a bitch too. - Polygomy!planets: The title says everything :v I just wanted the shipping wars to stop and that all the planets stay together :^( Also, this project is a collaboration, so, this is the one that probably will have life before the others. - Zelda!planets Every planets is a different race from the Zelda franchise.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

- Magical!planets I don’t really know about this. I just want to make something similiar to a majokko in a planetary contest, but there is already Sailor Moon and…  I’m really confused about this, help.

I mean I’m a simple person. I see something? I’LL DO A HUMANIZATION OF PLANETS ABOUT THAT THING.
