Basically Fazbear’s Pizzeria worked with a animal rescue organization which funded the making of Farley, a “sad unadopted” ferret meant to encourage people to consider owning pets. Of course, the Pizzeria skimped on the budget and made him incredibly cheap, which causes him to fall apart a lot. They usually sew him together to avoid having to actually pay anything to actually fix him. This went on until the Bite, which caused the animal rescue company to retract their affiliation with Freddy’s and threatened to sue them if they continued to use Farley for fear of the incident affecting their company as well.

Of course being the cheapskates they are all they did was slightly modify Farley by making him appear slightly more like a stuffed animal and changed his name to Sable Seam (he’s a sable ferret so ye), a stuffed toy that encourages children to take care of their toys. They’ve tried multiple times to alter or get rid of his collar, but whatever is done to the collar is undone overnight. He lasted a year before he was finally retired after his arm fell off in the middle of a show and nearly injured a child.

He’s a huge downer and hates being called Seam even though he has barely any memory of being Farley and can sometimes get aggressive or lose his mind when he gets a memory lapse or someone really says anything pertaining to his ‘past self’ or even who he is now and basically refers to himself as ‘just…me.”
