Rocket likes Naib! Rocket likes Naib a lot!!! – even if he’s only been here for a short amount of time and…. unfortunately thinks that maybe Naib doesn’t like him…? He hopes not!! That makes him sad.. But!! He understands that not everybody is for somebody! And maybe he’s just biased, because Naib just.. reminds him of… something– a cherished object of his from simpler times.

“I have had this stuffed bear!! He was the cutest and I loved him!! He was the cutest little bear ever and we would eat together and play together and sing together and go, go catching butterflies together and it was so much fun!! His name was Mister Handsome-pants! He was a Valentine’s Day gift from my mom!! My MOM!! I miss my mom..!!” 

“But during one of our adventures, Mister Handsome-pants took a tumble..!! It was THE WORST! I’m sorry Mister Handsome-pants….There were tears all along his arms, head, belly… and his muzzle.”

“Mom spent all night trying to stitch him back up. She even put him in a little hospital gown and everything.. and she told me that he’ll be okay. And he was!! Mom never lies! My best friend was okay and happy!! Maybe his smile was a lil funny but I don’t care! I still love him!!”
