The young Absol slowly approaches the Suicune, it stops a few feet away from him, sniffing the air curiously.
"Excuse me? Is anyone there? I can feel... A powerful aura here, definitely different from a normal Pokémon. Are you a legendary, perchance?"
*Zantzu heard their voice, turning towards where he heard to see them sniffing the air close to him*
"Yeah, Im here. On a walk in a forest. Yeah I am a legendary! A suicune in fact! But you dont have to do the whole royal bows and requests...I am not a huge fan of that."
*He petted the Absol's head softly with his paw while smiling at it, showing he is friendly*
Andromeda flinches ever so slightly at the sudden pet, but as soon as they recognize tht it is the same Pokémon, they relax again. They tilt their head, Suicine... They never heard that name before. They wished they could see how the legendary looked like, but they simply sniffed the Pokémon once more. He smelled like dewdrop.
"A Suicune?... May I ask, what exactly is a Suicune? My name is Andromeda, by the way."
*He felt the flinch and had an understanding of whats going on as he petted them a bit more before stopping, keeping his friendly smile towards them.*
"Andromeda? Like...a galaxy from those books? Thats a great name on ya! Names Zantzu! And what is a Suicune?"
*He sat down, looking at them before himself, trying to look for details to tell the Absol the best he can*
"A suicune are legendary pokemon who go finding dirty water and purifying it, making it crystal clear and perfectly drinkable for anyone. And they look like...well...uh...I have ribbons from my butt...fluffy purple mane like cloud...I am not a good teller on that."
"You're right yes, that is where my name comes from. But my parents told me they also got inspired by the constellation to name me. And thank you, Zantzu."
Andromeda listened intently as the Suicune explained more about their species. Slowly, a look of realization dawned upon the Absol, a more excited expression forming on their face. It was easy to forget that Andromeda was still young, since they held so much maturity. But in the end, they were still a cub, and that became clear with the child-like wonder they exuded right now.
"Purify lakes...? Are you the Aurora Pokémon?"
A smile formed on their mouth, their tail wagging ever so slightly.
"I've heard a lot about your species. My pack has a lot of tales surrounding legendary Pokémon... And a Suicune is present in one of them."
*Destino approaches the Absol, looking at them. They wave a hand in front of the Absol's eyes and smugly smile.*
Destino: Lost? Ha! That sucks for you. I would never get lost. My sense of direction is perfect. Where did you even come from? And where did you get those golden rings on your horn from? As a fellow Absol, I feel I should definitely get some form of decoration for my horn. I'd work the golden ring look much better than you.
"W-what...-"
Andromeda seems a bit disoriented by the waving and the amount of questions Destino throws at them. They blink, staying silent for a moment. The Absol wasn't a huge fan of someone who would randomly invade their comfort zone. Taking a few steps back, they slowly start to speak again.
"Well... Good for you, I guess. But it's a bit hard to have a good sense of direction when... Well, you can't know which direction you're going."
Andromeda speaks in a nonchalant tone.
"And about the horn decorations... I honestly don't remember where I got them. I think it was one of the elders of my pack who gave it to me. They said it matched with the color of my eyes... I just accepted it."

Destino: Yeah, I imagine the whole being blind thing doesn’t make things easy. It means you can’t see my glorious face, which is a shame. Probably explains your yellow eyes too. Absols don’t tend to have interestingly-coloured eyes like that. They tend to be a more red colour. You’re definitely a curious Absol. Not as amazing as me, however.
*Destino was curious about the elders of the pack thing. Did this Absol come from a backwards society where they did things in packs? Wow. That must be awful.*
Destino: Elders you say? Are they also Absols or are we looking at different Pokémon? Where I come from, I have a whole kingdom to run. Packs just seem a little…primitive to me. Such a peasant lifestyle.

As the other Absol spoke, Andromeda simply blinked a few times. An Absol that wasn't part of a pack, but instead, a "kingdom"? That was new. Andromeda knew what a kingdom was, of course, but they never imagined Pokémon coming together to form such a complicated society. They looked up at Destino and couldn't help but feel intrigued as they were looking at the heir of an entire kingdom.
"Well, yes, the elders are Absol as well. Most packs consist only of a single Pokémon species, at least where I come from. Our society may seem primitive, but it works. I think the only downside is that only the pack leaders are alowed to mega-evolve..."
They explained things, patiently. It seemed the Absol was pretty mature for their age. They just ignored Destino's comments.

They were pretty simple to do, just a color swap and the detail changes, I had fun! If you want me to DM you them lemme know!

By the way, by "fully blind since I was a kit", does that imply that you were not born blind and something happened to you that cause you to be blind?
"A galaxy, yes. My parents were quite fond of... Astronomy? I think that is what humans call it. They used to tell me stories about an old, abandoned lab, filled with books about stars, constellations and galaxies. All my siblings are named after some kind of space related thing..."
Andromeda answers, they seem to have fond memories of their siblings. A small look of worry crosses the Absol's face, what if their siblings are not searching for them?... It has been waiting for a few hours, for sure someone in their pack must have noticed their absence, right?
"And to answer your question, no. Nothing happened to me, I was born blind. There is no need to worry."

"Near-sighted? Oh no, I'm actually fully blind, since I was a kit..."
The Absol answers. It appears that they don't mind their condition.
"Normally, the older Absol in my pack tend to help me, but I can navigate around by myself to an extent. My hearing and smelling capabilities are very useful in these situations."

(askadelcatty) Umbra @ Andromeda: The Luxcatty purposefully emphasizes his steps to alert Andromeda to his presence. He speaks calmly and softly in hopes of not startling the young absol. "You mentioned you might be lost? Perhaps I and others can help you find your way back to where you want to be. Are there any particular sounds, or smells, or a name to where you normally are that might help us figure out where you're supposed to be?"
Andromeda stays silent, listening to the Luxcatty steps very carefully to pinpoint their exact location, afraid they might accidentally bump into him. The Absol hums, seeming to ponder, one of their claws going to rest on their chin.
"I think... I think I remember someone. A Poochyena, a friend..."
They seem to be lost in thought for a moment, trying to remember more. Andromeda's fixed and hollow gaze not really helping with figuring out what they are feeling or thinking in this moment.
Slowly, the Absol walks up to Umbra, stopping a few feet from him, they tilt their head, speaking once more in a softer voice.
"I don't remember anything else that could... Help. Maybe I should stay here for a while. The older Absol would always tell me to stay where I was if I got lost."

The Absol's head immediately snaps towards the direction of the whistles, they tilt their head curiously, before speaking.
"Oh, it's you again? Hello. What am I doing here?..."
"I don't remember, honestly... I think... Maybe I'm lost."
