The color's gone!  Yes, the color is indeed gone, at least for some comics.  The process of coloring everything was too tedious and time consuming for me to really care about it (plus, I love drawing the lineart the most), so I got rid of it.  However, don't be alarmed!  Color can always return on another day, especially for comics that require it in order for the gag or story to work.

Where's all those Flash brush strokes?  This comic is no longer being drawn exclusively in Flash.  I chose Flash for drawing this blog in 2011 because it was not only the most powerful drawing program I had at the time, but also the one I had the most experience using.  Now, however, I have the full Adobe CS5 suite, 3DS Max/Maya, PaintTool SAI, GraphicsGale, and a decent amount of traditional art materials and doodads as well. It seemed silly to limit myself to one way of drawing it, so now Flash is just one of many ways I can create stuff for the blog.

This also means I can draw stuff for the blog when I'm not able to use my computer.  Now if I get an idea for a comic, I can just whip out a ballpoint pen, draw it in my sketchbook, take a picture with my phone and post it!

There's a lot less question answering going on around here...  You are indeed correct: I will no longer require myself to answer a question for every entry.  It kinda defeats the purpose of an ask blog, I know, but it no longer requires me to have to wait for "that perfect question" before I can post a comic idea either, which means no more holding myself back.  It also makes me feel less obligated to update just to use a person's question or make the blog feel alive again, which was what really wore me out in the past with making stuff for this blog.

Are you updating daily now?  Boy, I'd wish!  You all actually just got "lucky" that I happened to build up a backlog of comics lately, haha.  I plan to update only if I happen to get an idea and make it into a comic.  Again, this factors into the whole "not wanting to feel obligated" thing I mentioned above. However, it's probably a safe bet that if I go nuts and make a bunch of comics, I won't post more than one comic in a day.

That's about it!  TL;DR: I wanted to bring things back to center and make the blog be a "just for fun" thing again.  Hopefully these changes help to make that happen!

Also, apologies for getting Twilight's cutie mark wrong before.  I made sure to make up for the error with today's comic.  And of course I read your comments!  It means the world to me that people take time out of their day to let me know what they think about any new comics I post!  It does a lot to help me and understand what I'm doing right or wrong!
