hey everyone! it’s me, @charlioak! i was the mod of the now inactive @askoak and @asksolemn from the 2014 era! i just had a little minecraft itch, and i remembered how much i loved the ask blog train, so hopefully this’ll spark a little bit more interest in it and keep this going for a while!

Ivan and Mick watched silently as the ender golem looked out of the mouth of the cave.  When the ender aknowleged them, they exchanged glances with each other and slowly walked into the main chamber where he knelt. 

"Oh, well.. No problem.."  Ivan said, rubbing the back of his neck. 

"And uh.. Thanks for saving us and what not."  Mick said, moving over to the chest.  She was still confused as to why a mob would act so.. Not monsterish.  She stooped down and lifted the chest, with a bit of difficulty because of it’s weight.  "We’d love to stay and chat, but we have to get moving."  She said.  "Right, Ivan?"

His eyebrows knitted together with what seemed like worry. Solemn pushed away the thickets, following them, but halted. 

"You shouldn't travel into these woods. Whether night, or day. It is always pitch." Pausing, he rubbed his hands together, a white flame no different than his eyes remained upon his palms. 

Both of the humans heard the golem’s ‘hello’ from deeper inside the cave and knew he must have woken up.  They exchanged a nervous glance with each other before poking their heads out from behind the rock wall that separated the room they were in and the room the ender was in.  Both of their faces were smudged with coal dust, as they had taken the opportunity to explore a little and gather a few ores.

Solemn stood, soles awkwardly flat on the rock. His claws tracing over the boulders as he looked through the mouth of the cave. The sun was barely rising, peering over the distant mountains. Solemn peacefully admired the rise, but turned slowly as a shy hello echoed back. 

"There you all are," Antlered golem hummed, kneeling down into a sitting position.
