She sighs wistfully, oddly happy about the wellbeing of the surrounding Pokemon.

"I'm specifically in Nimbasa because a very old friend of mine told me I should come. He wouldn't tell me why. He was all mysterious and serious about it. I don't know if I should be excited or anxious."

Jean glances out of the window and realizes her cart is has stopped. The attendant opens the cart door and ushers the two off.

"I could eat a Rapidash right now. I'd kill for a Riscotto. Or four, hah."

Jean slid herself across the ferris wheels platform and flopped onto the pavement, rather ungracefully. She hastily fixed herself up and flashed a embarassed smile to the Salamance behind her. She cleared her throat, flustered.

“This is the pawn piece… its the foot soldier… but it has the potential to be a great warrior. In the game, if it reaches the other side of the chessboard… it becomes a Queen piece, the strongest piece…”

“Please take it… and remember that you have that potential, too…”

“Also… I don’t mind if we are friends but… please don’t flirt with me again… I don’t think of you like that…”
