It’s like we’ve entered one of those end of the world type novels where heroes have to come up out of nowhere to take over for the evil dictators in the world. But way less fun. They think they’re the greatest invention since sliced bread and popcorn. They need to be visited by the ghosts from A Christmas Carol.

I think they’ll all be getting a huge dose of reality at some point. There’s no way they won’t eventually get what’s coming to them, which is a reminder that no matter how powerful they believe they are there’s always someone who can overpower them when the situations calls for it.

If that happens, I’m reserving the right to call their child a Sugar Baby.

I think I’ll leave any vetoing up to them.

Yeah, it’s not going to be me either, but it’ll definitely be one of us!

Maybe Sugar and Ryder will be the first couple to take a step in that direction.

I’ll be praising them for the rest of my days. They’re always pulling through and I don’t think they get enough credit from the masses. We need to get to the point where white men are the minority for once because that would be glorious and cost effective. 

We could only get so lucky. It’s sad that we have to hope that an entire population of people will be overrun because they’re too horrible to be trusted with assuring that good things happen to the rest of the world. If only they could realize just how terrible they are.

Well, I didn’t mean it would be you, necessarily.  I just meant with a group of friends our size it has to be happening to someone soon.

Oh, I’m sure it’s going to happen. I just know it’s not going to be me. Like 100% sure none of those things will be happening anytime soon.

Why do you always have to be so rational?

We won another small battle! I wish it was by a wider margin but I’m taking what I can get! We’re getting some tiny Christmas presents already.

We barely won it and have a specifc group of people to thank for it, which proves somewhat that the things we’ve believed have been correct all along. Hopefully they’ll continue to push us towards winning things because we need voices other than white ment to be heard.

You’re right. It’s appealing to my vengeful side which I’m totally okay with. This is like the longest game of cards and chess ever known but I’ll take it if we get the win in the end.

Sometimes it takesa while to get there, but the ultimate result is really all that matters.

To be honest, so am I - I’m sure it’s just a matter of time, though.  We’re all getting to be about that age, so someone’s either going to get pregnant or married.

I’d definitely prefer not to think about it because I’m not even close to being ready for any of those things happening. 

You’ve got nothing to be scared of!  But I get it - there’s no need to think too much about it right now anyway, you should enjoy the right now.

I definitely have a lot that I need to figure out before I’m worrying about that stage of life. Although I’m a little surprised none of our friends have gotten engaged yet.

It’s like the universe is like you can’t get a win too fast or else you won’t savor it but this is just being dragged on and on. But I guess as long as we manage to win the main war, I’m all for it. 

Slowly but surely is the only true way to win. Seeing them get defeated little by little is actually making it more enjoyable. I’m sure all of them are being investigated so it hopefully won’t take too long before their house of cards falls down.

Oh, I get it. People dip out when I’m around. I see how it is.

I wouldn’t give yourself too much credit for it, it is a pretty busy time of the year for people.

I’m sure I can do that much, at least, and I can set the table and stuff too.  Oh, you definitely will, so you might as well get the practice in now!

Thinking that far into the future is only slightly terrifying so I’m trying not to spend too much time focusing on that.

It’s like they’re turning a blind eye to everything. Two blind eyes even! There are some places that still try to get away with what happened in the past and it’s awful. We’re evolved but we’re like the middle evolution that’s still weak and not yet as awesome as it could be.

With every step forwards, there’s two steps back. Sadly it does seem like things are unevenly balanced right now, but hopefully things will start tilting our way again. We’ve won some pretty big battles so  I have to believe it’s possible.

I’m not good at recipes, but I’m good at helping if you just tell me what to do, so between the two of us we can make it happen.  You mean for when you’re cooking big family meals?

I’m sure there will be some easy things that you’ll be able to help out with. Cooking isn’t for everyone, but as long as you can cut and put things into the oven then you can help. I guess so. I’m sure I’ll eventually have to make family dinners.

I don’t think we’re ever going to get to a time where racism isn’t an issue. People act like we’re already there, but we’re so far from there it’s not even remotely funny. People refusing to acknowledge that there’s a problem only adds to it.

I have no idea how anyone can think that when there’s people like Richard Spencer actively trying to recruit people towards his awful views. We may not be doing the horrible things that happened in the past, but we’re far from where we need to be.
