Neverland Isn't Just A Dream

  Her heart leaped in her chest at the possibility grew more and more correct. Could this really be her Peter? The one she so desperately wanted back—to see again? Wendy chewed her lip in thought for a moment. “—-Did you miss her?” It was an odd kind of question, but for some reason, she felt like she would be able to tell with this answer. Wendy was a bit strange like that.

"I miss her more and more each day," Peter answered, voice quiet. His smile only seemed to grow at this rate. "And you know what else, Wendy?" How old was Wendy? She had only grown more beautiful since their last meeting. He wasn't much younger than her - he was only just eighteen.                      I get to be with her again.

❝It’s an amusement park with roller coasters and stuff, and there’s a ride called the Georgia Scorcher, and it’s legitimately the best ride I’ve ever been on.❞ And she had been on every ride at least once, so she had plenty of roller coaster experience. ❝But we’ll probably start with something a little less intense. Probably Goliath; it goes higher than any others, but it’s not too bad. Or Batman; it feels like you’re flying.❞

Oh, god, he was going to sound like an idiot. "And, uh...what's Panera and Starbucks?" It certainly made him sound like he was living under a rock, but he still had a lot to learn about this new world. "And what's a roller coaster again?"

"Uh, mister? I'm Peter Pan, and I sure ain't no fairytale."

  Two brothers. Michael and John. This was a bit too coincidental for Wendy, an once again she got the slight feeling in her stomach that she knew this Peter. “Your Wendy…how long has it been since you’ve seen her?” It had been many years for her, as was clear by her age.

"Too long," he answered, turning his head to look at her. "She's the whole reason I left home." While she looked older than he did, it was clear he had grown up too; he looked much older, a little more fit than the scrawny adventurer he had once been. He offered up a small smile. 

{ ♫ } ——-  Heidi’s eyes wandered up from her piano as soon as she heard the door open, voices echoed throughout the school hallway as she tried to play her music piece for the next show. Her heart raced as she watched the door knob to the classroom open. A group of boys walked in, and she awkwardly sat there. They were supposed to be in class, but they weren’t. Which is what made her more nervous. “Uh— may I help you?” She asked quietly, looking at the music pieces in front of her as she began to tap her fingers back against the keys.

When Peter had heard music, he wanted nothing more than to go find out what the source was. So of course he followed. But when the others found him - much larger boys than him - he was immediately a bit worried. Initially they wanted to beat him up, but when they brought him into the room and found someone there, they wanted out. He glanced over his shoulder as they left, then turned to her. "You saved me. Thanks."

❝We’re going to Panera for bagels, Starbucks for coffee, then Six Flags, because I don’t have any classes tomorrow and rehearsal tonight was cancelled.❞ And God knew Iris would never pass up any of those three things. ❝You haven’t been to Six Flags, have you? It’s the best place ever.❞

He had never heard of any of those places, let alone been to them. He nodded slightly at her question before he moved a little closer. "Nope, never been there. What is it?" It sounded more like a castle to him.
