Can’t say I have. 

Zaheer didn’t like it very much when we deviated from the mission at hand so when we got to Republic City we didn’t get to go out for anything more than ‘buying’ food and going for a beer.

Right now I can’t be arsed, I’ve got a cranky Waterbender to take care of and the world’s police force to avoid.

Maybe when the heat dies down though. I think Nuktuk’s love interest, from what I’ve seen from the posters anyway, is reason enough to go watch it. 

The blackwork on my forearms and lower legs were a gift from my old smithing master, he had the same tattoos. That way people’d know I was trained by a master and that I’d been his best pupil. A way to increase my credibility as a smith I guess.

The flowers on my shoulders were given to me when I was hired to be a sailor on a pirate ship, they were a tradition the captain started when he first commandeered his ship. Every crew member had one, signified a kind of growing up. I just thought they looked cool.

The ones on my upper arms were given to me by that same crew, 1 for every year I served the captain. He was a likable guy, not too tough on his crew but tough enough to keep them in line. 

The ones that run from my ribs to my back I got 2 years after my induction into the Red Lotus. I wanted to get a lotus motif but it’d just look terrible between all that blackwork so I went for a more abstract style. They represent friendship and freedom.

The last one, the one on my neck, I got a couple months before we executed Zaheer’s plan to kidnap the Avatar. Wanted to make it clear where they’d have to cut if we failed y’know? I got that one as more of a joke because I thought they’d never be able to stop us. Where would anyone be if they weren’t wrong every once in a while?

I think “And I thought I had it bad.” was an appropriate reaction to that hellhole.

To be fair I think they had to hire some sort of sadistic genius to design all of our prisons. P’li had to concentrate fully on Firebending just to keep her limbs from freezing off, I didn’t even get to FEEL my element and Ming Hua had hope to escape because they had to give her water on a daily basis but she couldn’t actually get out because if she didn’t drink the water she’d die.

I think out of all of us Zaheer had it the best. Despite what Harmonic Convergence did for him, Airbending wasn’t his ‘deadly skill’. His mind was his most dangerous weapon and not even a sadistic architectural mastermind could lock that away.

Oh I don’t know. 

Not face to face, no. I don’t think Ming Hua is the type to appreciate a vocal confession and I respect her too much to put her through that. Also I could really do without getting a sarcastic response to a heartfelt ‘I love you”.

I think the kid could do with some cutting loose. For what I’ve seen of him his face is permanently stuck in a frown and he is a giant sourpuss.

A future where every man and woman get to be whoever they want to be,  nobody telling them what they can and cannot achieve.

A future where everyone is able to afford to take care of and protect themselves and their loved ones.

A future where nobody has to die because some arrogant cunt in power decides they don’t have enough.

The kid shows promise, I’ll give him that. Teaching him would be a great way to ensure that my bending techniques live on but then again, I doubt teaching someone on the ‘right’ side of the law would be a good idea. Y’know with the whole ‘criminal, state enemy #1′ thing.

I definitely do think we could’ve been friends in another life, the kid’s talented, perceptive and quick-witted. He also seemed like a down to EARTH guy. Definitely would hang out should he have been a Red Lotus member or someone with similar views.

I can do numerous things!

My personal favorite is the ‘Fake melting-in-lava’ prank. I pulled it on P’li once. The gist of it is to make a pool of lava then pretend to drop something of value into it but right before you hit it, you solidify it and create a hole for the thing to fall in. 

It requires immense reaction speed and control.

I pulled it on P’li’s hair band once. I can’t say I regret it but I DID almost lose a leg to a very angry Combustionbender that day.
