Sorry for the unexpected hiatus. I got very, very ill (several different sicknesses) between the last update and now. But, I’m back now and doing much better. Sorry this year has been so bad for updates. But hopefully stuff is turning around. :D

Hi there! This is Mabu (Mabunnie) the mod of Askgamingwhooves. I was going to wait a bit before setting one of these up, but a series of events at home has made me have to do this sooner.
I have a lot of plans and ideas for this comic, and sadly, a lot of life events have taken their tool and caused me to have to pause now and then. But with the help of you awesome fans, it should be possible to curb those issues, even if just a bit.
So why am I doing this now? Partly because with over forty pages of comics being put out, and the fact that the story world is about to grow much, much, bigger, and I want to have the resources to bring the best world I can to you guys, and partially because there has been a big upset at home. Following a lot of stuff that happened surrounding getting a very bad concussion around new years, money had become very tight, and unfortunately I was laid off due to complications surrounding the injury. And today we found out, there are issues getting my partner of four years, who has brain cancer, the chemo and continued treatment he needs.
So if you guys are able, I would be incredibly thankful if you would consider, and become a patron, every little bit helps and helps add up! And every individual matters! Even a few dollars, the cost of a soda or two makes a big difference. So please, if you can, do help! And even if you don’t have the money to spare, which I totally understand, please reblog this and other comics you like. It does so much because then others get to see!
No matter what, access to the comic will stay free, so don’t worry about that. But Patrons will get bonus perks!

Modnote: Update information!
Hey all, I’m sorry I haven’t been able to post like I said I would. An update was in the works… And then I got into a workplace accident on the 29th of December and got a really bad concussion. I’ve been very slowly improving in some ways, but with brain injuries it is always very up and down. I can finally sit up in chairs for short (very short) periods, but it is very tiring. I still need help walking and climbing stairs and such. So I haven’t been able to sit at my computer and draw. Honestly Splatoon, Netflix and 7 days to die (on a roommates’ bedside computer) have been lifesavers. I really want to draw. I just don’t have the stamina to yet. The doctors are estimating at least a month long recovery. So at least three weeks or so likely. But I’m not giving up on this. And thank you for not giving up on this either! You are all awesome!
