So I was asked to volunteer for the physician assistant program at a university as Doc McStuffins. I wasn’t told until the day before the event, so I had quite a bit of scrambling to do!

he’d be legal aged. summer after graduating high school, let’s say. he does a lot of odd jobs for people in the area to make money for college. mowing lawns, cleaning pools, fixing things, grocery delivery, etc. It’s something he’s done since he was like 15, so everyone knows him and likes him and he gets more jobs by word-of-mouth.

John is a 40-ish vet who moved in not too long ago because swimming is the best form of exercise for him after he lost his leg in Afghanistan and his old house didn’t have a pool. It also had a lot of memories from when he and his ex-wife were together and he was tired of it. At first he tried to clean the pool himself, you know, pride and all. But the prosthetic is kind of clunky, and his good knee isn’t what it used to be. Neither is his back, frankly. He has a pretty neighbor named Valerie who recommends Dorian when she comes over to say hi and sees the state of his pool; so whatever, he’ll just pay someone else to do it.
