bel awakened to her identity at the same time she first turned into hime
she borrows old clothes of lussurias that dont fit her anymore because luss is her cool big sis!!!
she doesnt change her name, but she does start calling herself “princess” which tips off the other varia members into figuring out her new identity
she starts hormones at age 19; once she starts seeing changes, shes sure to let luss know so they can shop for proper clothes (ones that fit her new breasts and hips!), and luss is happy to celebrate the changes with her!
(specifically, luss takes her out for cake or sushi and buys her new bras/panties)
bel starts to wear her hair long when it grows out and squalo helps her style it!!! her hair becomes rly unruly and curly so its a bit of a fight for both of them but the end result is always good!!
levi of course is quick to sexualize her but bel puts him in his place real quick and levi no longer makes advances on her
mammon is happy to see bel coming to terms with her identity and they say they always knew, even before bel did, but didnt want to push bel or make bel feel unsure of herself

Do you have any headcanons about what Bel would be like as a parent? I saw that drawing of Yamamoto, Bel, and their daughter so now I'm curious!
ahhh, this is an interesting ask! thanks for showing interest in my art btw! anyways here u go!
because bel wasnt raised well as a child, he aspires to be the parent he never had
he calls his daughter his “princess,” and treats her extremely well. when Ave was a child, she was tucked into bed by bel, fed by bel, and bathed by bel (mostly anyways. yamamoto also gets his turns tending to his daughter).
bel also homeschooled her for a portion of her life, and was extremely apprehensive to leave her with other people when she eventually went to private school. she didnt have many friends growing up because bel isolated her a little bit lol
bel tells his daughter that he loves her, all the time. never a day passes that bel doesnt tell his daughter that he loves her. yamamoto actually has to remind bel that Ave doesnt need to be coddled
when Ave grows up and becomes independent, bel is able to stop worrying about her for the most part. while Ave was primarily trained by yamamoto, bel did watch them fight many times, and knew her training was sufficient and that she could defend herself (Ave’s weapon is a Snake Sword, btw... which is like a sword that splits into different parts and can be used like a whip)

bel typically gets his s/o very extravagant, expensive gifts. from jewelry, to high-end clothing, to expensive show tickets, you name it, as long as its flashy and expensive, bel will probably get it for his s/o. he treats his s/o like a prince/princess, getting them gifts very often.
bel receives all types of gifts from his s/o, but bel is always making lists of things he wants. his most prized possession was a tiara his s/o gave him, and although it was made of rhinestones and cheap plastic (it was mostly a joke gift), he loves it and wears it all the time!

Tears: bel rarely cries. no one has ever SEEN him cry. however the only time anyone can remember bel has cried was when his s/o was hurt badly, and it looked like they werent gonna make it. bel tried to mask his tears by grinning his usual grin and reassuring s/o that they would be okay, and that he wouldnt let them die. but it was obvious he was in pain, and his tears fell freely despite his words.
